Well we had another fantastic night at no5 and the food was fabulous really do enjoy going here for food eould say its my favourite eating place and also would like to thank all the staff for their professionalism and making our night one to remember

We were there last night to celebrate my parents Golden Anniversary. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly, hard working and attentive and made extra effort to make the evening special for us.

The food was presented well and the portions were of a decent size and the quality and taste shone through. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend. We will be back.

We had our xmas party here there were 15 of us and we all had a very nice meal nothing at all to complain about, portion sizes were more than adequate, the staff serving were all very efficient as was Ian who cooked the food. The decoration on the plates is exquisite and the personal touch really showed. I would definately recommend friends, family and clients to eat here. It is perfect venue for every occasion that requires good food served in a very nice setting. The menu was not over priced, it was worth every penny. I always judge a meal by "if I don't need to ask how much the bill was" then I must have enjoyed it. Thankyou everyone at No 5.

We had a meal last night (26th March) and have no complaints at all. The food was amazing and the staff could not do enough for us. The service was very good and we didn't wait long at all for our meals. Would highly recommend to others

We had a 60th Birthday meal here, the owner Ian was so wonderful in getting our party in as he had already got 2 big parties in already but he went out his way to get us in every single one in our party were impressed with the kind professional service from all the staff the food we all ordered was different but all agreed was excellent the amounts on the plate were generous but perfect the food was extremly tasty and very quick to be served we were able to bring our own cake which the staff kindly provided plates this was very kind all of our party were impressed with the bill the entire time we spent there was perfect and professional and we have all said we will not hesitate to revisit No5 on many occasions I would personally like to thank all that work at No5 for a very successful pleasant evening this place should be No1 on Trip Advisor in Retford for restaurants x

This is the first time we have visited this Restaurant but it certainly won't be the last. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. There was a lovely atmosphere with easy listening music playing in the background. The food was absolutely amazing. I would go as far as to say that it is probably the best meal I have ever had in a Restaurant. Usually in places of this quality the portion sizes of so small that you often go home feeling hungry but the portion sizes here were huge! The food was cooked to perfection and very well presented. What is also liked is that you were given time in between courses - nothing was too rushed. A massive well done to the Chef and all the staff. This place is the place to go for a truly memorable meal

My parents in law took me there for Dinner and it was fabulous, the only mistake was they call parmentier potatoes to a just simple baby potatoes with a sauce and thats wrong parmentier potatoes are small cubes Roasted with rosemary. Buy apart from that everything was good the service and attention, good portions aswell

My first visit to No 5 and it won’t be the last. The crab cakes were delicious. Beautifully presented Cajun chicken Caesar, loved the addition of berries. And stick toffee mm mmm pudding. My partner had the burger which was very tasty, great chips too.



We ate from the Market Menu, 3 courses for £23.95. But now we know the quality is excellent we’d happily plump for the regular menu too - my eye is on the lobster Thermidor and the duck!

Me and the wife came again on Friday, as always we enjoyed it. This place is one of my wife favourites. Relaxed atmosphere, lovely food and fantastic staff.

Had our Christmas dinner here it was the best ever. The food was great and the quantity. Will definitely be booking for next year. Thanks to Ian and his staff they were all brilliant

First visit last night but will definitely return. Great service, great choice of options on the menu. All the food was beautifully presented. Definitely one to try if you've never been, and definitely somewhere we will go back to!

Decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful Sunday lunch instead of the traditional valentines evening meal and it was fantastic. The service, food and surroundings were perfect. We will be returning for a Sunday lunch again very soon. I can highly recommend the garlic mushrooms and the pink beef, fantastic. Thank you!
