This evening we had a Local BOAR 🐗 giving a RIB the EYE! 😁😁😁

Halibut nearly gone some lovely Skate in this morning and a couple of nice Dover Sole too. Wild boar and much more.

We don't just do Sunday Roast on Sundays we have Wild Boar 🐗,Halibut ,Dover Sole and more.

We had a lovely evening at No 8, excellent service delicious food and stunning cocktails! !

Highly recommend you check this place out.

Oh my...what an absolute gem of a place. From the minute we walked in until the minute we walked out we felt at home. The cocktails are divine...must try more. The food is delicious and the welcome and ambience is everything we could have wished for. The chef and owner David came to chat and even made our cocktails. The building itself is also most interesting...having once been an old solicitors and a Mexican rastaurant. Do come and try for yourself. We will most certainly be back.

Now had 2 meals there. The food is fresh and to a very high standard as well as being very good value. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed and service excellent. The smoked haddock superb, the burgers generous and the pancakes for pudding too good! Will be back again soon.

No 8 is a wonderful addition to new town, great menu, fab friendly service & lovely setting. The best food I’ve had in Hastings.

My lovely hubby & I went for a fantastic meal tonight at a real gem of a restaurant, No. 8 on Cambridge Road, Hastings. Recently open by Dave Long & his very friendly team, we had the most wonderful meal, a real must go! Not to mention the Homemade Tiramisu! You will not be disappointed ��

Me and my friends had a lovely meal here a few nights ago, food was fantastic excellent value for money, atmosphere was lovely and staff were friendly and inviting! I must say we stumbled on No.EIGHT on Friday night with friends and had a superb evening. We all ordered fish dishes or fish stews which were absolutely fantastic all cooked from fresh by the owner and served by warm and friendly staff. There was also a cracking homemade burger and red meat menu which looked fab too. Greeted by a warm and cosy rustic cellar and bar dining area with an even more elegant first floor dining area. Definitely going back here. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening. �

Had dinner there last night, fab friendly service, greeted with smiles from all the staff and met the chef, little touches like this make all the difference when starting out a new business! The food was tasty, hot and well flavoured and the sweet potato chips were the best !! A side of macaroni cheese was demolished too- v good!! Prices were reasonable and the decor and music spot on- fabulous and thank you �

Had an amazing meal at No EIGHT. Very convenient to the railway station so our party travelled by train, which gave us a chance to try the cocktails!! Beautiful meals prepared by David in this lovely old building which is on two levels. This is a new restuarant in Hastings and we cannot rate it highly enough. Loved my Bream fillet with Seaweed mash. We will be back very soon. Very nice atmosphere. Will be back to try the Sunday Roast lunches they have just started.

Apart from being a lovely restaurant with great food the main reason for loving it is...its dog friendly !! Inside and outside, so we will definitely be supporting No 8 on a regular basis�
