Norfolk Country Cottages

Booked Byeway Cottage in Cley for a family week away. On arrival the cottage was filthy even a maggot in the visitors book!! Contacted NCC they said the owner would send their house cleaner round to clean the place but we would have to wait 4 days before it could be done!!! So we took loads of pictures and cleaned the place so we could get on and try to enjoy our break.
On our return we have contacted NCC via email showing them the photos and asked for compensation for our inconvenience HOWEVER they have ignored every attempt to resolve our complaint. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE USELESS WOULD HAVE GIVEN ZERO STARS IF THE SITE WOULD PERMIT IT!!

Booked a large cottage via this companies sister brand - Norfolk Country Cottages. Paid deposit and got email confirmation, only to be told 6 days later the 'homeowner' doesn't want my booking as it's an all adult group. Pretty embarrassing after I have had to retract invites to all my friends. To add insult to injury, after contacting them today, I have found out that they have personal details about a booking I made 4 years ago with their other sister brand Marsden's. Apparently I left too much dog hair in the house and it took the cleaner too long to clean.... this is the reason my booking was turned away! I am shocked they find it acceptable to share information about their customers to 18 other sister brands and even worse third parties (particularity when you don't know they have your personal details). My advice... stay well away from this awful company!

Poor! We have being sold a a holiday in a lodge with Wifi and Hot tub. Arrived and discovered that WiFi is in the nearest bar. And Hottub isn't there at all. There was a public one nearby you had to share with others and pay for it extra. Management refuse to take any responsibility for missold holiday. We had to go home and lost money and time.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff, with a straightforward booking process. Now looking forward to a relaxing holiday on the beautiful Norfolk coast.

found us a perfect cottage to stay over the Easter holiday break.
V Friendly. Absolutely loved our cottage, it was perfectly equipped and so so comfy. We have teenagers and a granny but the cottage was perfect for all. Will definitely return :))
