Lovely village pub overlooking the green. Good selection of food and beers. Dog friendly with a warm welcome and seating in the garden to the front of the pub.

Lovely place and staff, we stayed in a pod in the camping space for 2 nights, it was unique but well furbished and had everything you could need. The best kind of Man shed you'd want, kitchen, dining room, sitting room and bathroom. Very clever idea and the pub itself was very welcoming. Would happily go there again.

Lovely village location opposite the green. Serves good local beers. I haven't eaten here yet but I told that the food is very good.

A lovely pub in a delightful location. Good for as drink and a fine restaurant.

Beer quality was excellent but some of the timings were rather informal... Not helped by the lackadaisical attitude of a few of the staff. All very friendly though.

Mick's Roast Beef Dinner is fantastic. The best I have had - EVER. The beef was lovely and rare with the most exquisite gravy.

Only visited for tea and coffee on this occasion. I haven't tried the food or beer since new owners (Stratford-upon-Avon Brewery) took over. It looked good though and the staff were friendly and happy to talk. Worth a visit.

Cosy and welcoming, attentive staff and nice atmosphere. Desserts weren't as good as starters and main course, and a little pricey. Overall an enjoyable meal, would definitely return!!

Quintessentially located opposite a village green. Friendly welcome in an understated 'proper pub' manner. Good menu, regularly changed. Specials board to vary the menu. Excellent food, fish and seafood a specialty. All round, better than average village pub in a beautiful location. Check out staying in their pods.

Fantastic food in a lovely old pub setting. Decent selection of ales too. Will definitely go back.

Very good choice of beers this is a quaint pub. The food is very well presented and seasoned well. The surroundings in the bar are delightful with open fires. I would recommend
Eating in the bar area it has more atmosphere than the dining area.
Very quaint village pub.

Delicious food, BUT very, very slow service. They haven't quite got it together. Shame. We are hungry. Still waiting for main after an hour and it's not busy.... We would've had pudding and coffee but we will run out of time!
