Sorry, I am sure someone said to me once "you need to try and do 2 posts a week on facebook" well I am building up to 2 a year! We have been very busy cooking at some of the top wedding venues in the South West including Pynes House near Exeter, Huntsham Court near Bampton and Castle Hill in Filleigh. I am going to try and post more this year!!!! Wish me luck Matt

We were lucky enough to be asked to cook two lambs and a rear leg of beef for a great party, even if I say so myself I have never tasted anything quite as good as that Beef!

It has been a very busy year, so sorry for a lack of updates. We have had some great days roasting all over North Devon including Chappleton point to point races, A big charity day at South Molton Rugby Club where we helped raise £6400 for the North Devon Hospice. We had a great day at Hartland cooking just a few meters from the sea.

Its been a busy year already, but with 2 weeks between roasts it was time for some planed maintenance. Child labour at it best!

As you may have worked out from the pictures we are proud to be one of the sponsors of South Molton RFC first and second teams kit this year. Big thankyou to the club for the warm welcome and I am looking forward to watching a few games between hog roasts this year and next. (but please don't make me drink a pint through a used rugby boot again please) Cheers Mat

Right, It is offical, I am the worst person in the world at keeping my facebook page up to date. It has been a very busy few weeks with weddings galore!

With the weather being so good we have been very busy getting all the wood ready for the winter roasts.
All the wood we use is either from hedge management on the family farm or wind falls from past winters.
So I was thinking that it would be a good idea that for every roast we do we could plant at least one English Oak and one English Ash tree on the farm.
... What do you think?
Or should I start cooking on gas and use up all the earths natural resources and at the same time produce the softest, chewyest cracking ever! (that is a joke)
