North Devon Hospice

About North Devon Hospice

North Devon Hospice cares for local people affected by cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. We believe in being there for all the family.

North Devon Hospice Description

North Devon Hospice provides free care and support to patients and their families who are faced with the impact of a life-limiting illness. We believe in being there for all the family. Our doctors, nurses, counsellors, therapists and volunteers can offer what is needed at such a difficult time in the life of the patient and their family.

The care provided throughout North Devon is because of the amazing generosity of our community. Together, we work towards raising over £4 million from scratch each year. Without this support we couldn’t provide our essential care to thousands of people across the whole of North Devon.

About our facebook page: This page is looked after by the Communications team. Please be aware that we are not able to provide any personal one to one support through facebook but we can put you in contact with the people who can. This page is not monitored 24 /7.

We support hundreds of families every year who are faced with the prospect of losing their dad. So we know how tough today can be for many people out there. Just to say, we’re thinking of you all.

We are very lucky to have a team from accord here at the hospice today, and every Monday for the next few weeks, working in our gardens preparing the Accord flower bed, ready for some new plants to be put in thanks to their very generous £1000 donation to our gardens.
Our patients love being able to see and walk in our gardens, which are so beautiful thanks to the people that volunteer and businesses that support them like Accord.
Thank you so much to the guys here today and all at Accord! 💛 🌹

A huge thank you to stalwart hospice supporter, Stuart Brocklehurst, who took on the gruelling Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. He raised a phenomenal £2,600! Thank you for your ongoing support, it means a great deal to all those we care for.

We ❤️ our volunteers! So great to hold events during #VolunteersWeek to say thank you for their tireless service. We simply could not provide our care without them, it's that simple.
