Tour of Britain is holding 2 stages in Cumbria this year including a team time trial. The new potatoes are almost there, we can’t wait our favourite new potato dish is to serve them with lashings of butter and our own Cumberland sausage and a fried egg. What a luxurious stay! We have just returned from an amazing week spending my birthday here and exploring the lakes. Pure luxury in every way...the hot tub was a blessing after big walks! Can’t fault it at all, super comfortable, peaceful, private, great views, well equipped and just all around perfect!! Already looking at booking up again!

We’ve just returned from the North Lake Lodges, absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a Wellington and we have never stayed In a lodge as nice. Every was so clean, high quality and plenty of everything you needed. The lodge was very private and the hot tub was amazing. Would highly recommend and visit again

We’ve just returned from a 4 day break in the Wordsworth 3 and it was by far the best holiday we’ve had in the UK. The cabin is absolute luxury and we really liked that the cabins are totally private.

We have already booked to return!

We were the first ever guests at the site when there were only three lodges and a lot of grass! Had a wonderful time and our hosts were so welcoming, even providing a bottle of bubbly on our first night. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We stayed here the last week of May for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Darwin 1 and all I can say is wow!!! Such an amazing lodge with such luxury, didn’t see a single person except the few playing golf, but it was like we had a lodge in the absolute middle of nowhere. Can not fault a single thing about the lodge or location. The hot tub was fantastic and all the little touches like mood lighting and Sonos throughout was great! Would definitely recommend a break away here to anyone, you won’t regret it!! We will be visiting again I’m sure

We have just got home from a 2 night stay (booked 3 night and left early but really didn’t want to!) and it was INCREDIBLE! We stayed in Wellington 5, and the weather was brilliant, the staff were friendly, the hot tub was perfect and it was so private! You couldn’t hear or seee anyone from the lodge, and there was a perfect breeze to accompany the sun! We are coming back!!!

WOW! Had the best time ever, stayed at The Lawson lodge right on the lake, wonderful location, hot tub is great, lodge is beautiful, wildlife is great ( ducks visit everyday). The club house is great as well nice food and drink, had the afternoon tea delivered to the lodge which was amazing as well! Can't wait to come back!!!

Visited here last week of Feb that was the second within 5 weeks & again it was a fantastic & relaxing 4 days, we stayed in the Wordsworth 004 and it was so clean and modern, the lodge had everything you could possibly need, the hot tub was amazing & kept the heat which was perfect for the 4 days we chose to go the beast from the east decided to turn up....sitting in an undercover hot tub with snow falling and a pink gin in hand was perfect....Can’t wait for our next visit jus wish we could bring our little bichon he’d love it x

This place iss absolutely amazing. I can't recommend it enough. We stayed in Darwin 2 for 4 nights last week and it completely outdid my expectations. Perfect holiday. 5 stars.

The lodges are amazing. The staff are very friendly. The steaks were tremendous. The Sunday roast was excellent. The chicken and lamb kebabs delivered were �. The pizzas delivered were �. What an awesome place *****

Seriously couldn’t recommend this place more! What a hidden treasure! So clean and modern! Feels like home! A*!!!!!

Just returned from an amazing stay in the Darwin 2 lodge. The pictures don’t do it justice I did not want to leave the place! The lodge is finished to such a high standard, really spacious and full of high tech stuff. The outdoor hot tub with the starry lights above is magical!! I won’t hesitate to recommend north lakes lodges to my family and friends and I’m already looking to book another stay here. Thank you x

Just back from 4 nights in a Wellington lodge and loved it. Everything was immaculate and such good quality fixtures and fittings! Hot tub and log burner were amazing, especially in the snow! Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back when the weather's a bit warmer to get out on the lakes!

They have thought of everything,

The lodges are situated so you have total privacy, everything is finished to a very high standard, so spacious. There was even a tv outside with the hot tub!!! A very hard act to follow. Hazel was so lovely nothing was to much trouble and made our stay so special. Food and the lakeside inn was amazing too. Thank you Hazel and staff. Xx

I stayed here with my family over the recent bank holiday weekend. We loved our stay! The lodge was gorgeous. So spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed a walk round the lake and had 2 fantastic meals in the lakeside restaurant- Sunday dinner was amazing!

Had a week in the Darwin 3 it was gorgeous so private the lodge was fantastic with hot tub sauna and steam room like having your own little spa, also had a meal in restaurant which was lovely, and had afternoon tea delivered to the lodge and that was delicious � .

Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Had a great time here at the weekend staff great and helpful .

The lodge itself was the best we have been to very clean modern with plenty of privacy with great views from every window .

Would definitely recommend and look forward to booking up again soon

Arrived 2 hours early - Harry & his team instantly accommodated us by opening the lake house early, our lodge was swiftly prepped and was nothing short of excellent.. standards are clearly high and well maintained.. The best lodge break to date.. the Lee family will certainly be back.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. Our expectations completely blown out of the ball park. The site / lodge was so cosy & inviting with all the little added extras that you couldn't evan think off needing. The Staff/ Owner bent over backwards to help from the second we walked in until we left. Can't thank you all enough for making our break so fabulous. Congratulations to North Lakes Lodges on such am amazing job keep up the fantastic work.
