An amazing day out. All of the volunteers were incredibly friendly and helpful, telling us about the trains and giving us lots of information.

We managed to get a seat in one of the private cabins which was incredible.

A big thank you to the volunteers that let my partner look inside the front of the train, it made the day for all of us.

A great selection of engines on this heritage line. The stations are lovely and nostalgic. I did feel it was a little pricey for what I considered to be a short journey experience. Having said that there are some lovely views to be had on the journey and both Holt and Sheringham are great places to visit.

Very historic and interesting, even if you have little interest in trains. Steam trains run here and you can get quite close to them. Its on a working line so the sound and smells of steam trains are never far away. Knowledgeable staff and an unhurried atmosphere make for a relaxing couple of hours. .

What a thrilling ride! Holt is a beautifully kept station with an interesting museum full of history and information. The trains and carriages are magnificent and immaculate but the staff are awesome! They are incredibly helpful and have so much knowledge and information and are always ready to help. It is only a short ride from Holt to Sheringham but I could have ridden all day and it still wouldn’t have been a long enough ride!

Open spaces. Hard working teams. Nice locos. Well kept places.

Lovely steam railway station well worth a visit. Especially during their annual beer festival that they hold on the station every year in mid July.

A fantastic day out for the whole family. I heavy recommend stopping off at Holt station and getting the bus, which is a very short journey, into Holt for a great lunch.

Both steam and diesel engines are in great condition and the carriages are great to ride in.

A beautiful well kept heritage railway. We travelled from Sheringham to Holt on a steam train and what a great experience. This was the first time we took our eleven month old twins on a train and they loved it. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and took the time to walk with us down the length of the train to the baggage car to store our pushchair for us and they were there waiting at the other end. On arrival at Holt station we took a pleasant 1.25 mile walk into Holt town centre, the route is paved and although narrow at points it is well maintained and able to fit a double pushchair down (appologies to anyone who had to stop and let us pass though). We had a great trip here and hopefully​ one day in the future can visit a themed event here
