Received my first livefood subscription and my Yellow Bellied slider was a very happy girl! My other items have arrived quickly and in excellent condition, very pleased with the live plants for my tortoise enclosure too! Will definitely shop here again :)

Ive never actually visited the store as i live down in dover kent, but just lately all our local pet stores have been rubbish for there live foods, so thursday night i decided to take a leap and order from the northampton reptile store online.

I ordered 50 large locust, 50 waxworms and 15 cockroaches. The order turned up fist thing this morning all insects live and full. In fact we got a few more than ordered.

But i just wanted to say absolutly amazing delivery service, very quick, insects look great. I have one very happy dragon!!

You have gained a customer and i shall be ordering every week or so.

I order my live food from you. Have never had any problems with delivery or if I need to contact you. I am disabled and use a wheelchair. So sometimes it's hard for me to get out to get the food. So although I live in Southampton. I order from you guys because I think your the best place on line. Keep up the good work xx

I love this company! I use them all the time for food for my Leopard GeckoвАЩs, substrate, Vivariums and decorations for our Snakes and have never had any issues! The vivвАЩs arrived in perfect condition, the food always arrives with no deaths and the delivery services is fantastic! If I have ordered something and it is out of stock, I have always been offered I refund or to choose another item of the same price! I highly recommend this company and will continue to use! пњљ Only wish they would sell Non-Adhesive shelf liner for the GeckoвАЩs so I wouldnвАЩt have to go elsewhere пњљ

I got Spyros Vivarium from here, followed by my next lizards viv. What great prices and products on offer. Fast delivery and all in one piece. For vivariums, though you do have to construct them yourself, this place is fab

I first visited a couple of weeks ago when I took our Bearded Dragon Norman in for a health check, they gave me excellent advice on his health, nutrition and trimmed his nails. i then went back for advice on frogs, spent a long time collecting information and bought all the equipment for my small exo-terra, set it all up. i had a small issue and i just emailed them via facebook and received a prompt reply. Today I went to pick up the frogs I had selected and I am extremely happy & confident with their service. Each time I have visited they also always have a fresh supply of bugs, and other extras too.

Fantastic experience at the Northampton Reptile centre. We have made several visits in preparation for getting our Bearded Dragon and each time staff have been happy to answer our questions and let us hold beardies to get used to them. Today we finally got our Bearded Dragon and again, staff answered all our questions and made us aware of things we needed to know, and checked we had the right set up. We came away feeling completely supported by them before, during and now after our purchase. We highly recommend them. Thank you!

Okay, so after reviewing my last review, I feel perhaps a slight change in wording and rating...



I wonвАЩt sit here and bore you, but I do have some problems that could do with sorting... (probably wonвАЩt be sorted)



So, basically, overall with this company, I rate them 7 out of 10..



Reason being, when clicking вАШsend my subscription nowвАЩ, itвАЩs about an hour or so later, I get my email through saying I have placed an order. Many times I have pressed this option thinking it hasnвАЩt gone through because it doesnвАЩt give me any notification telling me I have successfully placed an order...





Postage isnвАЩt shown on the subscription page online, in fact I thought postage was free, as it tells me postage is ¬£0.00... this needs to be changed. Because itвАЩs very confusing.



IвАЩve lost hope for fragile/do not shake labels on the boxes. In the past, my live food had arrived all over the place (probably Royal Mail throwing my box around), however I have been compensated for this.



Sooooooo. Those are my issues, now time for the good points...



If I have an issue, what with dead live food arriving on delivery, the compensation is 80% amended with either a refund or a replace.. during the 3 years of being with this company, I havenвАЩt been let down for being refunded or replaced.



The orders stating 1-3 days have never been late.



The majority of the live food orders I have received through the post have been alive, apart from a few times being throughout the winter where orders have arrived dead. But after many emails, I was refunded for this. (I should of been more aware of the coldness that can disable the movement of the life food)

I recently ordered two full setups (bought separately, rather than as a package) including two vivariums, two ceramic heat lamps and cages, thermostats, and a bunch of assorted decor.

Originally, my order (due on the Tuesday) was delivered to the wrong address despite the address on the invoice being correct. How this happened IвАЩm not sure, but I understand that mistakes are occasionally made and this canвАЩt be helped. I spoke to customer service, who were actually very helpful, and arranged a redelivery, specifying the day. I was assured the parcels would be delivered on the day that I had requested. However, two days before the delivery was due I was informed by a neighbour that they had accepted delivery for my parcel. I was left no card, nor an email or any other notification to say the package had been left with a neighbour. I recognise that most of the fault here is with the courier, but IвАЩm not impressed with the delivery standards.

Majority of the package arrived in acceptable condition, however one of the ceramic cages was bent out of shape. I decided to keep it anyway since I desperately needed to get the lamps into the vivs for the snakes and I had already been waiting for an extra few days.

Today, less than a week later, one of the the ceramic bulbs has blown despite being connected to the correct thermostat. Snakes are now in emergency vivs whilst I try and track down some new ceramic bulbs.

I ordered with Northampton Reptile after seeing that majority of the reviews here are positive. I will definitely not be ordering again.

Visited today as we liked the look of the website. We were planning on buying platinum bearded dragon setup along with extras.



When we enquired, the young lady was trying to be helpful but needed some assistance from one of the online guys. This guy came out having a go at her being very rude and stomped off.



A great way to act in front of customers. Completely put us off. So we have taken our business else where.



To the young lady, you a a credit to the business for not reacting.



To the guy. You are an idiot and if you spoke to me like that it wouldn't of ended well.

Sitting at the pc one heck of a bang I thought someone had put the window through no the glass on my vivarium has just exploded glass everywhere I understand that I bought the viv about 3 years ago and didn't think they'd replace the glass but my issue is that they are not going to warn people this could happen this review will be deleted I'm sure I've had dragons on and off for 15 years and bought 2nd hand viv's and this has never happened before just to say I hadn't even put the heat lamps on just be aware this could happen :-(

Ordered a complete bearded dragon set up (platinum) and was assured it came with absolutely everything. After a couple of phone calls as we couldnвАЩt figure out how the UVB light fitted and being told the fittings were definitely in there the lady worked out that the UV controller was completely missing but the online team would call me back first thing Monday morning



Monday morning- no phone call so I rang in myself. Was originally told it was out of stock (why was I not informed and still charged?) then I was told that the beardie SHOULD be ok without the UVB light for a couple of days (I had arranged to collect him today). Then the part might be in stock under a different stock number even though it was the same (sounds a bit weird) so IвАЩve asked them to refund me the cost of the controller and IвАЩll order elsewhere as I donвАЩt trust that they arenвАЩt trying to fob me off with a lesser product. Hopefully IвАЩll get the refund but IвАЩm not holding my breath



Sent my husband driving all around the town and 30 miles away to Bristol trying to find one yesterday with no luck because of this error пњљ

Lost my first parcel and messed me about with it. Sent a new one and still waiting for half the stuff to come. The live food I needed still hasnвАЩt arrived so had to buy from another shop while I wait. Not sure if IвАЩll be ordering again from here after this.





Update: the second parcel only half arrived and all of my live food was missing again. Getting more excuses from their customer services and was told the parcel was sent complete despite the Live food not being in the parcel or on the invoice. ItвАЩs being sent again finally.

I have used this company many times without an issue. Yesterday I placed a very large order that I was told would arrive today. After booking the day off work to wait for this order I quickly realised it wasn't coming.

Called the centre to ask what was happening and was told that they'd contacted the courier (TNT) and that the order would come within two hours.

After waiting again with no avail I called the centre for the second time, this time I was told that the courier was unresponsive, as well as the store manager.

Adam, the extremely unhelpful staff member that I spoke to, said he'd call me within two hours to discuss further progress on this issue. After I explained how I didn't think I should be asked to wait further, he then agreed to ring me in 1 hour to talk then.

It has now been 5 hours and still no call. I havwcranf twice within this period and yet no one has answered.

I spent a very large sum on this order and yet I'm still without it.

So now my snake will be homeless until this joke of a company send me a replacement of my order. If that ever happens.
