Northwich And District Youth Centre

The Northwich & District Youth Centre is a Registered Charity (520094)

Dedicated to serving youth in the community of Northwich (and surrounding areas) in Cheshire. The youth centre is held in trust with maintenance, running costs and repairs funded through monies raised from hire of the building and grants from local government and charitable donations.

The Youth Centre is run by a Management Committee made up of volunteers and representatives of the various user groups. This Committee meets quarterly to ensure that the needs of the user groups are being met. A smaller Steering Group taken from the Management Committee meets monthly to develop strategy, progress agreed actions, raise funds and be responsible for the day to day running of the property on behalf of the Management Committee.

Currently the Centre generates over 17, 000 footfalls per year serving a number of special needs groups, local government youth clubs, dancing, judo and tae kwon do clubs and also providing offices for the Cheshire Youth Federation and the Northwich Dyslexia Centre.
