If you're thinking ahead to the September market and being in your new home by Christmas then now is the time to get started. If you're moving for more space then your storage areas are probably looking a little over full. Moving is a great time to part with things you no longer need, but an even better time is before your home goes on the market. You don't want your viewers to think there's not enough storage so start having a sort through now.
If you have a lot of things ...you definitely want to keep then a storage unit is a great idea. The competition between companies means there's usually a deal to be had and there are a couple locally on Molly Millars Lane. You can hire them by the month in lots of different sizes. You want cupboards and shelves to look neat and tidy, so a few books rather than a packed shelf.
Kitchens can also fill up very easily so take a look through your cupboards and drawers and see what you could take out. If you're anything like me then worktops tend to fill up with appliances that aren't often used. Pack these away temporarily and make sure your kitchen is the shining heart of your home as buyers really focus on kitchens.

We've been adding a few new pieces to our styling kit this week to ensure properties sparkle in their sales photography. A beautiful vase of flowers and champagne flutes are always a nice touch.

Denis was wandering Dinton pastures last night (don't we live in a beautiful area) and wondered if you could sit on that bench with any two people in history who would they be?

Photo worthy coffees at Oslar Coffee whilst Denis and I discussed the finishing touches to our new sales service. Exciting times and a good excuse to drink great coffee!

This is Alfie, the star of our latest photo shoot. Our new rental property in Jupiter Way will accept pets so Alfie decided to help us out with the advertising!

One advantage of all this sunny weather is it makes for some great photos. If you're thinking of selling later in the year, when your garden won't look as good, then take a few photos now.
One of our sellers had a book of photos of the garden in full bloom when she sold in winter and it was a great thing for viewers to flip through on viewings. If you're having a BBQ or eating outside this weekend then take a few photos with everything set up. People want to picture themselves living in the house and those kind of pictures really show what a great home it will be.
Don't worry if you don't have a great camera, just take some shots on your phone and you can get them printed when you're ready to sell. It's those kind of touches that show viewers how much you've loved your home and why it's the one for them.
