Free family summer holiday programme including - Active Play Grow at Norton Grange community centre

It is the end of another successful year for Norton Conduit in association with Prior Pursglove College.
We would like to say a massive congratulations to all of the students who have completed courses with us this year!
We would also like to thank everyone who has supported us this year, including BCT Aspire CIC & Groundwork NE & Cumbria for taking our fantastic students in for their placements and Dimples day nursery for supporting us to remove barriers to education.
... We hope to see continuing and new students join us in September for our Autumn 19/20 programme.

Community Courses for September 2019
Norton Grange Community Association and Prior Pursglove College are pleased to announce accredited courses with nationally recognised qualifications starting in September 2019.
Which courses?... Level 1 Health & Social Care (approx 10 weeks) Level 2 Counselling Skills (approx 20 weeks) Level 2 Working With Individuals with Learning Difficulties (20wks) Level 2 Understanding Autism (20 weeks) Level 3 Health & Social Care (34/36 weeks)
Where are they held? Norton Grange Community Centre, Somerset Road TS20 2ND.
When do they start? L1 H&SC – Thursday 12th September – 12:30pm to 2:30pm L2 Counselling – Thursday 12th September – 9:30am to 11:30am L2 Learning Difficulties – Friday 13th September – 12:30pm to 2:30pm L2 Understanding Autism – Monday 9th September – 9:30am to 11:30am L3 H&SC – Monday 9th September 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Are the courses free? Yes for adults 19 years old or more if unemployed and/or in receipt of eligible benefits. Free tea & coffee as well. Level 3 has different arrangements that the course tutor will advise upon.
Is free childcare available? Yes available on site (Dimples Nursery) but subject to individual circumstances particularly a household income less than £16k pa.
What do I do next? Come along to the Centre for an informal information/enrolment session on Thursday 5th September 12:30 – 2:30pm.

If you visit Tesco express in Norton village please ask for a token and place it in Groundwork North East and Cumbria, to support Active Play Grow Sessions that are ran weekly at Norton Grange Community Centre for children 5-11 years

Youth work students please get your hours in this week as next week BCT is closed

Fantasic free awareness sessions for parents and carers of children who are neurodiverse
