Congratulations to max who passed his test yesterday at handsworth. One of our under 17 pupils on Norton Lightwood with only 2 lessons on track and 10 on road hours. Well done and happy driving

Massive congratulations to Harry blanksby passed his driving test today a handsworth test centre All the way from Dubai to pass with Safety 1st driving academy driving lessons With just 2 minor faults , Harry started his driving lessons at 16 on Norton lightwood driver training area

When for first time yesterday, my daughters 14 would highly recommend this place just after few minutes my daughter was driving did a full hour and she was brilliant the staff so helpful and friendly and definitely worth every penny will be coming one a month from now on my daughter loves this place

We visited norton under 11's driving yesterday for the First time for our daughters birthday treat..and it was epic (say the kids!) our son and daughter each had an hour lesson with a driving instructor (Martin) he was amazing with them...we were then able to have 10 mins as a passenger in the car while they each had a turn at driving....they are so excited to do this again...we will definitely be visiting again for our Son's birthday....thank you to everyone you were amazing..we will be visiting regularly loved it!

Took our 12 year old grandson for his first lesson. He absolutely loved it. We were also allowed to sit in for 20 mins to see how he was coping. Was amazed how good he was and was told he had a natural ability. He is now doing odd jobs saving up for another lesson.

Took my son today he’s loved it can’t wait to go again Jackie his instructor made him feel at ease . I highly recommend this place it is great

Took my daughter for the first time today she really enjoyed it have already booked for next week the staff are really good and very helpful the instructors go through every thing with you so my daughter was not nervous at all she was very excited will definitely be going every Sunday thankyou

Took my 16 yr old daughter today for her first ever driving lesson and she loved it. The instructor (Martin) was very helpful, kind and professional. Will definitely be booking again. Great facility to teach good habits from the start, highly recommended.

Took my 15 year old son for first time and he absolutely loved every single second. Plenty of room and well set out track, staff are very friendly - we can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a great afternoon out.

This place is great. Been taking my kids for months now. 11yr , 13yr, 15yr and 16yr.

11yr old and 13yr old by far better at it than other 2! My 11yr old has learning difficulties too and she grasped staright away. You have 3 options!!! 1 to take them yourself in your own car £10 an hour ( multiple kids can drive within the hour)

2 pay £20 for a hire car and you take them in hire car.

Finally pay £30 for a driving instructor to take them.

Personally ive taken all mine. Sometimes stayed on for 3hours at £30

My son got some £30 lessons for Xmas last year and has paid for a few of his own since and got some for his 14th birthday too . Highly recommend it here and to book a couple of professional lessons at least before you take them around yourself as it's amazing how many bad habits is unprofessionals can teach them . Start with the correct methods 👍🏻

My son and I went for the first time yesterday and we had a great time. Plenty of room for us to practise setting off and stopping for the first time without feeling any pressure from other motorists. After an hour or so, he was confident to drive my car around the track in second gear and learned to stop and give way and use the steering wheel effectively! A lot accomplished so quickly in a safe environment. I was amazed. We have booked for his first proper lesson with an instructor now too and he can't wait to come back.

My 5 year old trialled the under 11's course today he loved it, he went round on his quad as his bike was out of action but it's a great little course for the younger kids to practice on! Highly recommend to everyone �

I'm practically an OAP learner (23 y/o) and I've had an amazing time learning how to drive here. We brought along our own car and used the space for 2 hours - there's plenty of facilities and had exactly what you need it to learn. Have recommended to five different people since!

I took my 14 year old granddaughter for an hours tuition. She absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it.

I take my 13 year old daughter on a fairly regular basis and she really enjoys the security you get of learning about the vehicle's controls and getting used to the feel of the vehicle, learning how to change gears, steering, braking etc in a controlled environment without the pressure of going out into the mayhem of the open roads when she reaches 17. Excellent, friendly and helpful instructors on hand to either give a full lesson (prior booking required) or to offer help and advice if you're taking someone round the course yourself and need some assistance, whether its theoretical or practical advice. Overall, a fabulous place to take anyone wishing to learn to drive in a secure and controlled environment. They also have an indoor seating area. Refreshments are available at a small cost and there are toilets too

I hired the Toyota yaris for a hour for my 14yr old son his first time in a manual car he did great and I was proud of him, he got a bit of advise from one of the instructors that I didnt pick up on as I took keys back, I would recommend taking kids here if they interested in driving to get some experience, To all the staff keep up the good work.

Great place. We used a dual control car with Jay as the instructor, and my boy came away feeling like he could drive after a single lesson. He is only just 15, so this has given him loads of confidence.
