Norwich Nhs Walk-In Centre

The appointment was 45 minutes late, rude doctor, my wife started crying because he wouldn't want to refer my 5 months old baby to paediatrician although he could see that the baby has a problem. The doctors/nurses at this surgery (and many other) act like gatekeepers to prevent people from accessing specialist help. For them everything is fine, take some paracetamol, do some blood test...

Turned away for blood tests twice by receptionists.
First because "bloods aren't done after 12:30", and second time because no one was prepared to print off my ice form.
I had to walk to the city on both days when i should be resting, but my doctor told me this was Urgent.
I feel the receptionists couldn't give a flying one. Totally unempathetic, quite rude, unwilling to help and perfectly happy to deny a patient their care.

2 hour wait and was told about 30 minutes to an hour and 2 hours later I was still waiting, coughing and bad breathing. To be told that I'm fine! Won't be returning there

Excellent. The times I have been here I have been seen promptly (I had arrived at 7, mind - but remember you're in a queue and there are other people waiting apart from you) and by a caring and knowledgeable nurse. Was diagnosed penicillin quickly for tonsillitis the first time and now have to occasionally go for dressing changes as I had surgery about a month ago and the district nurses are too overwhelmed to see me at the weekend. Excellent service, even in the adversity of government cuts. A genuine credit to the city/country/health service. Cheers!

Nurse was no help after waiting 2 hours saying nothing's wrong to then be told the next day aha she's a chest infection im fuming

Dr Pippa is very helpful, Receptionists are very kind, waiting room is big and appointments are usually on time! Wish there was a bit of free parking but in Norwich that is a rarity!
