Went on Saturday to celebrate two friends birthday. Brilliant night the entertainment was great and the staff were brilliant. As for the cocktail steins пњљ. Highly recommend the venue. пњљпњљпњљ

We went for a 40th birthday and had a fantastic night great entertainment and we went for silver package which got us a shot a stein of cocktail and pretzels and novelty selfie sticks enjoyed by all and would defo recommend рЯШШ

We had a great family fun time and had the gold package and was well worth the money. Tha band was awesome and everyone there all joined in we will DEFFO book again but next time a lot more of us next time happy days

Watched the Blues/Villa game in the sports bar, very impressed lovely place will definitely go again.

Was a great night from start to finish, even enjoyed the food, the evening was well worth £20, service was really good, will definitely book again.

Umpah umpah great night food drink and excellent entertainment.

Was there on Saturday 24th March for my stag do, and it was class! Enjoyed the drinks, the food and the entertainment was awesome!

Would definitely recommend it!

Had a excellent night for my son's and son in laws sten do. The food was good and the pitcher's with the drink in were huge. The entertainment was brilliant. Would highly recommend this place for any kind of party.

Great upstairs in the sports bar, plenty of TV's to see all the sport as it happens.

Came here with a big group last night to celebrate a birthday! Had a fab time! The show was so funny and the Staff were brilliant! Paid ¬£15 each welcomed with a stein shot and pretzels and someone came to take our coatsпњљ worth every penny! Will definitely recommend to everyone and will 100% come back! пњљ

Brilliant night with friends, good atmosphere the staff were very friendly the food was different but really tasty and enjoyable. Loved the entertainment they got all involved singing, dancing and swaying. Will definitely be going again.

Been many times n it's a right laugh....n yesterday went for the England game . While queuing outside one bouncher kindly came n explained they were nearly full so a few left but we stayed got in n was fine. Bar staff brilliant quick patient n helpful

Attended the disney quiz night last night and had an absolutely amazing time, the atmosphere was incredible and the host was hilarious, the venue itself was very clean and spacious, all in all I'd deffinately come back again. Thankyou for an awesome night.

Attended the Disney event last night. It was a fantastic night, the staff were great and the quiz master was incredible, even if he nicked one of my cigs, found it hilarious to вАЬbullyвАЭ me and he couldnвАЩt get the staff to add up the scores for shit рЯ§£ but all in all I would highly recommend the Bierkeller. ItвАЩs a great environment with amazing cocktails in great tankers

An absolutely brilliant night out! Definitely would go again....great value for the price!

The entertainment was excellent & we were having a fab night until the doors were opened to anyone at 10pm!

We had paid for the gold tickets but really had to hang on to our seats as people were just getting up on any benches! Our waitress Jasmin was fab & she sorted out a few guys trying to muscle in on our table, but then it really got crowded by 11pm, beer was being thrown around and we were literally pushed out of our seats so decided to leave before it got ugly!!

We did have a great night but wonвАЩt be going again!!

I went here last night for my works doo, didn't know what to expect as Iv not been in this place before , but I thoroughly enjoyed myself to the max. The staff from the waiters , bar staff and the entertainment was on the ball making the experience extra special пњљ was just ashamed that our carers night out was put with another company/group of people and one person within that group was very vocal about her husband being touched on the shoulder which the entertainment team had asked everyone in the room to do so as part of an interaction sing song . Not only was she vocal and loud about it with her indirect threat of me getting smashed in the face if I was to touch him again, she is not a game player and you should advice against miserable people coming down to such a great atmosphere. She didnt ruin my night tho people like her don't phase me nor did I get smacked in the face so win win all round for me пњљ I just felt I didn't need to be on my works doo sharing tables with others , it's her attitude that will put customers off пњљ but for the money I spent I'd give you a 8/10 all round пњљ

Had a great night with friends last night, live music was great, great atmosphere all round. The lovely lady dressed as a banana is free to contact me anytime also! пњљпњљ

Had a brilliant fun Christmas night with 16 peeps from work! Lots of laughs and great fun..we had bronze package which was worth then money. Only bad point it got far to busy with students and felt we got pushed out! Lots of drinks spilt and pushing.. but overall Great Time пњљпњљпњљпњљ

Gold package bit expensive at £20 considering steins are around 6.80 making hot dog and fries rather a lot, although you are getting entertained, good time and fun, 23 of us aged 18 to 69 had a great time until they let the rammel in, too many people, very young and very drunk, overrun our table pushing I and getting up on the benches, really rude so literally pushed us out. Having paid for the gold package we expected to stay the night, disco was good, however we left as our seats and table just taken over. Not our thing won't be going back.

Brilliant place to watch football and have a laugh but not sure why every round we had and we never varied in drinks was more than the one before, and 4.45 for a pint that we were told was 2.45 the day before because it was "drink of the week" is beyond shocking.

What started of as a really good night ended up very disappointed пњљ, we had such a good start of the night , we paid for gold package and it were really good , one of my friends went for a cigarette and were not allowed back in cause the bouncer said she were to drunk to get back in , now correct me if am wrong do they not encourage you drink a lot , and to be fair she were not to bad , we all had to leave very sad

Went to bierkeller last night to be told we werenвАЩt aloud in because our IDs didnвАЩt look like us despite having our cards on us and social media etc for them to see. They then made us stand outside and write our signitures for them to say they didnвАЩt match !!!! Door staff here take the absolute PISS рЯЩВ

We had booked for a stag do last night... All of us spent time and effort getting outfits, this was the main part of our evening spent roughly 500 quid for the group booking, only for us to all walk out after about 1 hour... Every time we were getting involved in the fun we were constantly told to sit down by the bouncers, when looking around the majority were up dancing on the benches... As your website clearly allows you to do... It's not like we are a bunch of teenagers all mid 30's and above. The stag on the evening was going around chatting to other groups and having a laugh which the guy on the mic didn't like because he was taking his attention... And he accused him of being high and drugs.. The attitude of these people grated on us that much we just walked out could not be bothered to waste time getting our point across, cheers for ruining the evening and all the effort and planning that went into getting all of us together as a group. One of our guys had a chat with manager outside hopefully he does the decent thing and gets back to the guy that booked it.

Really enjoy coming here for drinks, heard about the menu being suitable for intolerances, however when I asked what meals I could have, only 2 things on the menu were okay for me to eat. When I asked if I could take ingredients off the burger they said I would still have to pay the same price as it would be if all of the ingredients were on it, when many other restaurants would have accommodated my dietary needs (as they have done in the past and charged less). Not impressed by this service.

Perhaps a bad review is pre-emptive but I did have a bad experience.



My husband and I, dressed in formal attire, are clearly heading towards the middle section of our life. We where meeting friends in the city centre for an evening out, with some exciting news to share.



We where hungry however and so, before hand, thought we would let our hair down and try the vegan sausage. Maybe try some German drinks and ask people to meet us here one we had eaten. We could have chose from any number of "posher" places that offer vegan options in this city that can be so proud of it's vegan inclusivity.



Alas, nearing thirty years of age, my husband ( in a tweed jacket no less) and I. got no further than the door. At half past three! On a Sunday! We where asked for ID! I



I haven't carried ID for a decade. I would love management to explain the lunacy of this to me.



You not only lost business but I have been put of for life. Am I seriously to be lead to believe I look under eighteen? You may argue I look under twenty five. I would be extremely flattered to be told I look twenty four and expect to be allowed in (with an apology for the inconvenience perhaps). What if I intended to eat but not to drink?



Utterly ridiculous and offensive behaviour from the doorwomen. Visited four other business that evening with no such silliness.

IвАЩm up from London and we were having an amazing night until we were attacked by another customer out of nowhere and for no reason, I went to staff and we were simply kicked out, all drinks we lost we werenвАЩt refunded and the problem was we really enjoyed the night up to then when we were attacked.

If I could rate lower on customer service I would. I had my 21st birthday party here, which was a fantastic night with good entertainment. However I was promised a refund which I am still trying to sort out. Considering itвАЩs been well over a month (my party was on the 5th may) shocking service is putting it nicely!!! I am not impressed and to be honest IвАЩm quite mad about the whole situation. I cannot find anyone higher up to talk to about this in the company. So if anyone wants to come here for a birthday party be warned!

Had a good night but the chef decided that a £5 hotdog cart would substitue for £12 buffet and now they won't provide me with a refund leaving me £140 quid out of pocket. Would not recommend for an event

Genuinely disappointing night at bierkeller for the Christmas special. Staff were rude, pushy and obviously overworked and stressed. Waited in the queue for an hour at least despite being only a little way up the stairs- the queue went all the way to the top floor. Venue was obviously oversold and they hadn't the staff or the professionalism to deal with it. Only one bouncer saved our night- whoever was on the stairs was always lovely. Normally have a really good time here but this just completely showed that they are incapable of handling a large event.
