In just this week alone, we have recovered over £200,000 for clients! This brings the total of compensation recovered for clients in June 2019 so far to a massive £286,553.73. 😁 #HappyFriday #wedoprobono

It was great to celebrate the Legal Advice Centre recovering over £3,000,000 for clients on Wednesday. With speeches from Cillian Ryan, the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of College, and Laura Pinkney, the Head of the Legal Advice Centre, we celebrated the Centre’s recent success and reflected on the positive impact it has on the local and wider communities’ ability to access justice. Thanks to those that joined our celebration, but more importantly, thank you to all of those that helped us to achieve it. 😁

In the spirt of Dementia Action Week (20th-26th May 2019), Aidan Plows, a BPTC Student at NLS is participating in the Tough Mudder Challenge later this month. Aidan is doing so in order to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer's Society. In the past year alone, our Free Representation Unit ("FRU") Student Representatives have represented over 70 Clients in either an Employment or Social Security Tribunal! #justiceweek18 #wedoprobono #FRU

Over the past year over 320 Student Volunteers have assisted 449 Clients and Businesses with their legal queries. This has ranged from preparing letters of advice to delivering informative workshops on legal issues. #justiceweek18 #wedoprobono
