brilliant boxing day evening performane. Have been regulars at the panto here for some years now. Always boxing day and front row if we can. Always brilliant. Genuine cringey jokes, saucey humour but suitable for all ages. We love it. Singing was good this year, and as for the poor old lady being blown up!! thats a line worth remembering...like the yeat john sank the pinton stage!! see yousame time next year xx

Wonderland was the most superb play that I have seen in a long time. Brilliant portrayal of the characters and situations of the mining community that I knew so well, growing up in a mining village and remembering so clearly as a young adult the trauma and difficulties of the strikes and mine closures. Moving, emotional and educational, fantastic!

User

Went to see the Playhouse panto today and it was fantastic full of laughs, great songs and fabulous performances all round! Will be back next year for sure!

User

Went to see Wonderland the show was amazing and the staff were lovely and very helpful will definitely come back

User

Went to see Elkie Brooks on Wednesday. Brilliant performance as usual. Elkie never fails to deliver. My only gripe was some people were constantly using their phones! So distracting not to mention rude! Your staff were brilliant at telling people to turn their phones off, but there was one woman near me in the circle who totally ignored their requests! Don't know what the answer is really. Just having a moan!

User

We brought our three daughters (10, 12 and 15) to see ‘Holes’ last night as the 12 year old’s birthday treat. It was fabulous! A great production & we ALL really enjoyed it!

Great to see live theatre again.

Love the Playhouse!

User

Took my 6 year old to see the little mermaid JR last night and it was excellent, special mention to the actresses who played flounder and scuttle you were excellent and so funny, thoroughly enjoyed it.

The venue was lovely and clean, the drinks and icecreams weren't over priced however the organic chocolate buttons were of limited choice, over priced and not very nice. There's nothing wrong with cadburys! (which I would have happily paid £3.50 for) it's a children's play know your audience.

User

This was our third year with Pasic charity and we absolutely loved it as always! The Cinderella show was amazing!! That cast are absolutely fantastic!! Deffo recomend to everyone these are a must see in any show they put on!! My son is a childhood cancer survivor and has been dealing with a lot of emotional issues and hadn’t been happy in a long time and rarely smiles but last night he was so very happy and hasn’t stopped smiling since!!

User

This afternoon we were lucky enough to watch the matinee of Holes and what a treat it was! An all round brilliant production; action packed story, amazing actors, great sets and costumes and so very funny. Thank you to all involved at Nottingham Playhouse.

User

Saw Shebeen yesterday with my family and we were all absolutely blown away by it! The story was really moving and the acting was sublime; we totally believed in all the characters. Can’t stop thinking about it today. Absolutely loved it! 10/10

User

Our Country's Good.

Saw this last night with my 16 year old daughter.

One of the most STUNNING pieces of theatre...let alone inclusive theatre... that I have ever seen.

Brilliant concept and execution.

Was emotionally and physically shattered by the end.

Thank you for putting on shows like this.

As a teacher I would want every student to see something like this... to open and broaden their minds.

Congratulations to all involved.

Just took our 10 and 5 yr old girls to see Cinderella and it was wonderful.

Great cast, great songs and just really good family fun.

This was my first visit despite living in Notts for 30 years, but I’ll definitely be back, it’s a great venue!

User

Holes was fantastic! Saw the Wednesday evening performance. Everyone acted their socks off and set was brill. Thanks for a great night out, my partner loved it too

User

Fantastic Saturday afternoon show, wouldn't be Christmas without the Playhouse panto. Particularly impressed with one dancer that shone - footman on right - to stand out in that cast of big characters is quite an achievement! Star in the making?

User

Been tonight to see Cinderella panto and all four of us thought it was fantastic and my little girl absolutely loved going on stage. Great atmosphere we will definitely be back next year thank you

User

After listening to Giles Croft talk about the production Of The Kite Runner we booked tickets to see the production on Saturday.

Having read the book and seen the film I had been reluctant to see it on stage because it was so such a moving story.

The play has to be one of the very best I have seen at the playhouse. Time flew by it was totally captivating.

The wonderful cast were brilliantly lead by David Ahmed . The use of music and sound effectively accompanying the action in the background added a depth to the play.

The set and the lighting were brilliant too. The play was kept moving by the creativeness of the scenery.

A brilliant and memorable experience.!!

User

We saw 'Holes' last weekend, and thought it was brilliant! The stage set was clever and interesting, and the cast were genius. However, the theatre was less than full - come on folks, get down there to support it before it closes!

User

Waste of time and an hour's round trip rushing down there for the pay what you can performance of Cinderella tonight as it sold out within minutes of going on sale! Bet you any money half the people who did get tickets either don't turn up or are going to be selling them on later because there's always someone out there to ruin it for everybody else
