A good day at the London Wine Fair #LWF19 yesterday! Met lots of great people and tried some very interesting wines :)

A few more delicious discoveries at the London Wine Fair this year! Chinese, Canadian, Hungarian and Portuguese wines.

Having fun on the first day of the #londonwinefair #lwf19 and ran into Ben from Croatian Fine Wines to retaste some lovely bottles! If you're here today hopefully run into you to say hi.

Here's a snap of Gyorgy and Gerhard showing our new recruit Elena the wine lifestyle! We whiled away the afternoon outside Perold Wine Cellar yesterday. Tasted some new South African wines including a White Pinotage and a Tannat! Very exciting.

Tonight we hosted a #worldsauvignonblancday tasting at The Square Club with all the alternatives to this classic grape variety.
Our alternatives were Furmint, Vinho Verde local varieties, Rkatsiteli, Kiralyeanyka and Malvazija-Istarska. All the wines served with cheese provided by Nibbles Cheese in Bath!

This lovely late harvest wine is a “marriage” of Furmint and Harslevelu, Tokaj’s two most important grape variety.
Literally our number 1 wine. Fairytale was the first wine Ben & Gyorgy bought for Novel Wines. It quickly became our customers' favourite dessert wine thanks to its fresh, fruity flavour. Notes of honey, melon, quince and pear combine with fresh acidity to make a sweet wine that'...s luscious but never cloying. What a crowd-pleaser! You'll like this if you like... Monbazillac sweet wine. Food pairing: Crème brûlée or ginger cookies. Cheese pairing: Roquefort blue cheese.
