Making Air Bed-n-Bug https://t.co/azR8ZWBBho The software quite simple. One trigger input from the coin acceptor starts a chain of events. The main problem was organising the wiring, there are just so many different lights and motors and effects all working on different voltages' https://t.co/Cw5CDRuiGc (via Twitter http://twitter.com/NovAutomation/status/1 125718687925899264)

Why waste £££££s on some dumb West End musical or stupid film when for a few coins at Novelty Automation you can have an absolute blast!

Plus, you can win free popcorn and sweets!

User

What an amusement arcade! My favourite game was definitely My Nuke - a personal nuclear reactor. I really liked the proper metal game tokens that were created too. I'll be back.

User

What a great find. Check this place out if you are in Holborn.

What a gem! Visited today with my brother (I'm 45 and he's 48) and we both giggled til we cried. A great, silly way to spend an hour!

User

Went with my sister and our cousin and we had a good laugh at all the silliness. It was hard to know what was going to happen at times but the surprise elements gave us all lots of fun moments. Very clever and great sense of humour used in the development of the machines. Our fave was the photo booth, also loved the angry dog, the frisk and the alien proble. Highly recommended to go in a group where you get to watch someone’s reaction

User

Visited today and absolutely loved it, so funny and definitely worth stopping by if you're around!

User

Tim Hunkin is a genius, I dare say nobody could come to one of his arcades and not leave laughing and exhilarated. There is nothing out there like this!

User

Marvellous place to spend an hour or two in.

User

Loved this place! So much fun - Excellent entertainment.

User

I stumbled across the Southwold Under The Pier Arcade many years ago, really nice to see the same machines again and some new ones too. Really enjoyed my visit today, thanks!

User

Hilarious, inventive and like nothing I've ever seen before! We bought enough tokens for all the machines and it was definitely worth the money. Silly, playful and utterly unique. I can't imagine how much time and effort went into the design and construction of each of the amusements. Never mind the generic London attractions, if you're in London, go to Novelty Automation. It took us about an hour to get around all the machines, the young lady at the counter was friendly and we'd go again, bringing more victims with us. Especially tasty if you're into toys/arcades/puppets. You also get a nuclear waste sweet from the NUKE machine and a photo strip from the photo booth. Go and have a play!

User

Fun, quirky and unpretentious. A place to let your silly out. Cycle Pong was fun - I was rubbish. Loved the expression booth. All very Heath Robinson, would go again.

User

Brilliant, quirky and lots of fun! I didn't stop laughing. Highly recommend!

User

Brilliant place. I've been a Tim Hunkin fan for years and it's great to have access to his inventions.

User

A small but wonderful attraction. Great fun - political, silly and ironic. Perfect for teens and up. We do not live in London, so combined our visit with the theatre. We went for a good hour but could have stayed for longer if we had had the time. Highly recommended!

User

I went in my lunch break as I had a voucher for one token. I purchased some more but left feeling a bit disappointed. I think it's fair to say that it's somewhere best visited in a small group, preferably after a few drinks.
