📨 May is 'Share A Story Month': 😄
Have a read of a fantastic patient story, from a lady who was treated at Nuffield Chichester 🤩:
I had heard great things about Michael Moss from a number of friends who had had hip or knee replacements done by him, so when I needed a right hip replacement it was him I wanted to see. Obviously, I had a lot of questions, but he was very reassuring and inspired such confidence that I was happy for him to go ahead and I had the operation at the N...uffield in June 2013.
It was so successful that in what seemed like no time at all I was back to striding around the countryside with the dog and going to my very strenuous exercise classes with no problems whatsoever, in fact, most of the time I completely forgot about it, but I was determined that if my left hip ever needed replacing I wasn't going to let anyone but him do it.
This year I was diagnosed with severe degeneration in my left hip, after suffering a great deal of pain in my leg which I thought was coming from my back and I was lucky enough to be able to get an appointment with Mr Moss (thank you Sarah!) and a couple of weeks later, on 18th May, I had a left hip replacement at the Nuffield. Again, it's a tremendous success - as I knew it would be - in fact I left the hospital after 48 hours, with only one crutch and a score of 12 out of 10 from the physio! A week after the op I was walking around the house with no crutches at all and no limp and now, just over two weeks later, I have even been for a short walk with my husband and the dog. I know that it will not be long before I am, once again, back to normal and I could not be more grateful to Mr Moss for his superb care and for the care of all the wonderful staff at the Nuffield.
