About Nuh Medical Interpreting
We are a niche though vital service connecting non-English and Limited English speaking patients and clinicians.
Reviews
This event is always very well recieved, and there is still a chance to book a place to attend. A valuable opportunity for anyone interested in roles with the Trust. Also beneficial for colleagues looking for development opportunities and career progression. Please do feel free to share with family and friends.
Professional introductions:
There are no formal rules about what to say in your introduction however after introducing your name, title and agency (where appropriate), try to include at least these four elements if you have time:
1. Everything said or signed will be interpreted.... 2. Everything will be kept confidential. 3. Please speak to each other, not to me. 4. If I do this (show a gesture) , please pause.*

Some information about cover over the holidays
NUH's very own Renata Towlson writes in this month's edition of 'The Linguist'. She reflects on how interpreters need to care for themselves, whilst trying to empathise with their clients.
If you would like to buy a copy of this month's 'The Linguist' they are available, through the office, at £5 each.
End of week figures:
In October 2018 ITS delivered 1,584.75 hours of interpreting in 50 languages.
Community interpreters, you might find it useful.

Remembrance month.
How would you say "Lest we Forget" in your language?
We are looking for a Logo of our Interpreting and Translation Services. Here is the first proposal.
Do you like it and if not could you suggest another ingenious image?
