We’ve been here a few times for meals or drinks and always found it to be very good. Yesterday however was exceptional. My fiancé and I (both visually impaired) popped in on the off chance that there was availability for dinner. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who asked us where we would like to sit. He offered us help to read the menu and some water for my guide dog. Every effort was made to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The food and service were excellent as usual. We were even able to use our taste card. One of our factories restaurants in London and as we work next door, I know we will be returning again and again.

Went for Dinner there yesterday, it was great service the staff were brilliant, food was lovely, would love to go back sometime!

My daughter treated me to one of the lovely afternoon teas the food was high class a variety of finger sandwiches and such wonderful fresh cakes the staff made sure everything was ok and very friendly and we can't wait to go again well worth a vist

Lovely afternoon tea for my best friend's birthday. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes. We did our best to finish them, but couldn't. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional and gave us a goody bag of what we couldn't eat. We would definitely go again !

A lovely couple of hours was enjoyed here by myself & 5 friends on Sunday.The food was delicious,service was great,& the flow of prosecco was appreciated,highly recommend.

The enclosed seating towards the front is ideally situated for taking advantage of the sun mid afternoon until early evening. Prompt & efficient table service.

Received a warm welcome and was seated very quickly. The service was excellent by all staff and very attentive. Very clean and crisp white tablecloths. The variety of different teas was very good as was the selection of cakes and scones. Only one criticism was the lack of filling in the finger sandwiches, it was just a little sparse and not very tasty. Apart from that a very nice place for afternoon tea.

The only thing I would say was that it was rather warm inside.

Staff were very welcoming on arrival and didnt take long for drinks and food to be served. Booked afternoon tea and made a special request for no butter, egg, mayonnaise or smoked salmon on half the sandwiches so basically just ham sandwiches. Unfortunately they only managed to leave the butter off so my partner ate them for me as I didn't want to make a fuss not that anyone bothered to check if everything was ok. The cakes were nice and a good selection. The decor is very smart and chic but not what you expect for afternoon tea. We would not bother to return again.

Attentive (if slightly odd) staff, yummy sandwiches and nice decor. Lacked atmosphere, and not too clean where we were seated. The cakes, as others have said, were bought in, which was a bit disappointing for a 3 star (4 star?) hotel. Also seemed to be lots of flies! Probably wouldn't go back.

We had a gift voucher, so went for that reason. It was ok as a afternoon tea but not the best. The cakes were excessively sweet, it didn't seem that anything was home made but bought in, although it was presented well. They catered for my gluten free husband well, but again it was all shop bought. For the cost, maybe I shouldn't expect too much, but it wasn't anything to write home about.
