hi I'm David the station adopter the Bedworth Railway Station Community Group

Stuart and John are regular users of the railway and are proud in this fact, Stuart and John have always wanted to improve their local station but never knew how until late 2017.

Stuart had visited the then operator London Midland website to look at a railway journey and accidentally came across the station adoption scheme.
After watching a promotional video and doing some research on the project, Stuart jumped at the opportunity to take up station adoption.

In October 2017 Stuart spoke to close friend John Ridd about the project and John who is just as passionate as Stuart in improving their local station John jumped on board with the scheme. Both Stuart & John met a representative from London Midland who came to Bedworth to talk about the scheme and how both station adopters Stuart & John can change the aesthetics of the station as they both knew very quickly that the station had be unloved for years and now it was there time to change it.

By November 2017 Stuart and John had done a number of station visits and started to talk to local people about the scheme and very quickly a number of people jumped on board to support and volunteer their time to scheme.
