The preschool children have been looking at the owl babies story. We have used the fascination tray to give the children opportunity to recall the story and develop their PSED playing in a group, extending their play ideas, sharing and taking turns. They can also extend their learning looking at books independently and showing an interest in illustration and print in books and the environment. #EYFS #learning #preschool

Today the Tweenies are exploring our Iceland fascination spot.We are going to encourage the children to try a new activity and to judge risk for themselves and to explore,and show interest when children discover new things.

This morning preschool were practising crossing the road safely, using role play situation. Engaging in imaginative role play based on own first hand experiences, using available resources to support play

This afternoon focus activity with the bee bots, learning about sense of direction and listening to simple directions.

To end our road safety week of activities we went for a walk in the community. We talked about how we cross the road safely and used the zebra crossing. The children all could tell us how we cross the road and how we have to stop, look and listen for cars before we crossed the road. We also talked about what transport we could see while we were walking and what other sounds we could hear. #roadsafetyweek

This morning one of our focus activity is to thread large beads using our fine and gross motor skills, we always was looking arising our dominate hand and problem solving how to thread the beads.

We’re asking you to make a festive decoration with your child/children for our tree at nursery!
The salt dough recipe is below and you can always pick a copy up at nursery!! When making salt dough and baking it please place in an oven at 180 and leave for around 1hr to 2hrs until firm.

my son loves this nursery, he adores all the staff and his development and social skills are improving all the time thanks to the wonderful staff here. he's always asking if he can go to nursery to see his friends. makes me feel so much better knowing he's going to a place he loves.

my daughter loves going to this nursery the staff are fantastic! she has so much fun there, they do so many different activities. I highly recommend nursery rhymes to every one :-)

My little one has just started here after being with mum for a year the staff made the transition so much easier for both of us! Without mentioning names the girls in the under 2's room are a real credit to the establishment

My grand daughter TIana thinks this nursery and all of the staff are lovely ,its so nice to hear her tell me all her amazing days she has .her little eyes light up when she knows its time for nursery .thank you for making her days so awesome before big school ,these will be the days she will remeber and treasure for her whole life .from grandma sue xxx

My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery. She been here since she was 9 months and has graduated this year as she is leaving to start school.

The staff are amazing and always friendly!!! Wouldnt recommend any other nursery.

Lovely nursery! Never seen Mia so excited to be going to nursery! We cant even drive past without her shouting my nursery! The staff are lovely and friendly and would recommond this nursery to anyone!

I'm so glad I chose Nursery Rhymes for my children, it is a fantastic nursery. My son & daughter have come on so much in every aspect since they started here. The staff are understanding & caring, nothing is too much trouble. Every day is different for the children, they do so many different activities & learn through each activity.

I absolutely love this place, they are all so incredible, friendly and understanding. My son loves it as well. I really wish I could give them more than five stars �

Brilliant nursey my little boy levon enjoys his 3 days a week here ,, always happy environment the staff are brilliant and lovely to get along with im soo happy with my choice choosing him to come to this nursey and thankful that the staff enjoy the company of my little boy thankyou :)
