My name is Vanessa and I am a qualified and practising midwife, graduating from The University of Worcester. I am also a fully qualified Hypnobirthing Practitioner, training with The Association of Hypnobirthing Midwives, who are based in London. Also affiliated with The Wise Hippo Programme.

I am also mum to four wonderful children and had my first experience of Hypnobirthing with my youngest, who was born in 2007 and my only regret is that I didn't discover hypnobirthing with my other children!

The word hypnosis often conjures up an image of people theatrically clucking like chickens on stage. However, in reality, many of us are regularly in a state of hypnosis, either when we're engrossed in a good book or daydreaming whilst in a boring meeting! Hypnobirthing is an exclusive antenatal education programme that teaches you everything you need to achieve a positive birth experience through learning relaxation and breathing techniques.

I offer bespoke one-to-one antenatal hypnotherapy with women, and their birth partners at a time and venue to suit you.
I also offer small group sessions which are held during the evening, in a wonderful therapy room in Gloucester, which I have carefully chosen for its welcoming and relaxing environment.
