Great place. Lovely sit down meal and all my family and friends around me. Shame about the weather! Couldn't even see the view from the terrace, of the South Downs. Management and all staff were friendly and very helpful. Super day

A personal view... Whilst beautiful in places, overall I was disappointed with my first experience of Nutfield Priory. We attended for afternoon tea and I felt we had a mixed service from staff e.g. forgetting a glass of water, one pot of tea between two so we had to ask for hot water sooner rather than later. However, I was well looked after when I arrived and did not know where to go. I would expect this really for the hype.

We took a short walk after tea. The grounds were restricted, with no views and not befitting a place that stands itself out from the rest in the local area.

I'm not sure I'd go back.

We had such a wonderful time. They really blessed us with a room upgrade and chocolates in the room for my Birthday. The food and service was excellent. Beautiful views from our room. Thank you Nutfield Priory we'll be back.

Amazing facial - very relaxing. The facilities are pleasant, clean and generally well maintained. Not 5 stars as it had a slight health club feel rather than the more relaxing spa feel I was hoping for, and whilst tasty, some aspects of the afternoon tea had a 'made earlier' feel. Not stale but heading that way. However my friend and I enjoyed ourselves and would return, but only if they have a deal on.

We had a lovely break at Nutfield Priory. It was a birthday surprise from my wife so I don't know the cost but knowing her she got a good deal! She mentioned that it was a special occasion whilst booking and when we were shown up to our room there was a handwritten card from the manager and a little present of a small box of chocolate - a really sweet personal touch! The hotel is a magnificent country house on the outskirts of Redhill with gorgeous far-reaching views. The staff were all brilliant - very polite and helpful. The room, although maybe a bit dated, was large, clean and well appointed. It is the first time that we have stayed anywhere that the bed is turned-down in the evening (as well as restocking the coffee capsules for the excellent coffee maker and providing more milk and little biscuits!) - we were most surprised to find this when we returned from a meal out and were a bit ashamed at leaning the room in a bit of a mess. The spa is in a more modern building behind the hotel. It's well equipped will a gym, squash court, sauna, swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi. Again it was very clean and the staff very friendly. We did find the jacuzzi was a little hot for prolonged usage but maybe that's a good thing - we didn't have to wait long to get in there! The breakfast was brilliant 😁 The usual choice of continental materials is available but the cooked option was lovely. Definitely not your usual fare - my wife's eggs Benedict with salmon looked beautifully done whilst my traditional English was obviously made with care. It was a lovely meal with attentive staff overlooking the fabulous view. I would certainly recommend a stay there - especially if you manage to get a good deal on the price. As far as I'm aware it is usually quite expensive!

Excellent hotel. I only used the room, had a 2 night stay but for work reasons did not have time to use the health spa and pool, or the restaurant, but my room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. I'd definitely stay again.

Only visited spa not hotel. Very nice, good treatments, packages and food. Only slight problem was not enough loungers around the pool. Bring your gym gear, the classes look great. Staff very helpful. Bit warm in the restaurant but fine otherwise.

I just love the feel of this hotel. It's gothic and romantic but still very comfortable . Grand open spaces. Service and staff are pretty good. Very polite. The spa is lovely and the range of treatments at reasonable prices considering the high quality. We had a very enjoyable stay and would go back again .
