Between the 15th and 17th of March the London based vegan cheese company that has captured our hearts (and bellies) @wearenutkin will be launching the first ever UK plant-based cheese shop right here in our Academy and will be hosting a whole weekend of incredible events with a drinks reception, complete with a sommeelier and a specially selected choice of wines and beers to be paired with each of their nut cheeses 🧀🍷🍺, a deli selling all their deeeeelicious vegan products, a supper-club featuring gourmet plant-based dishes created with Nutkin by us - like the drool worthy dish in this picture plated on @caracaraorange ceramics who you would have seen across our stories this weekend as she hosted her very own popup, and a workshop where students can learn how to make their own simple nut-cheeses. They were big lol's for one thing but they were more than that. They were two guys who decided that they feel uncomfortable about the waste in the world and so they felt they had to start doing something about it. They both got on their bikes and travelled from crouch hill to #woodgreen on an exploratory trip into the unknown. They came prepared with take away boxes that had been lovingly cleaned and saved over the weeks/months and filled them with goodies. Of course they loaded up on @wearenutkin #veganparmesan coz how could they not! They were lucky enough to be here when the chocolate goddess @dianas_chocolates showed up with some sexy treats for #northlondon (yes I'm now back in stock:) They left I think feeling good about their day and their package free adventure! ~ I love my job, the reason I love my job is because I get to see the determination and hope for a better future with guys like these who literally go that extra mile to do the best they can for the world. Of course they didn't escape without a good dose of veganising! 🙊😈 I look ok forward to our next meeting when we can discuss the in's and out's of the @dominionmovement and the @earthlingsfilm film.
