You will find Coopers Island Natural Reserve or Long Beach located at the southeastern tip of Bermuda.

Sometimes it’s good to visit the most anticipated beach on the island first – in Bermuda’s case, it’s Horseshoe Bay Beach, also known as one of the top 20 beaches in the world by ‘Conde Nast Traveler.’ Horseshoe Bay Beach in Southampton Bermuda is formed in the shape of a horseshoe, with pale-pink sand.

Kaanapali Beach, Maui
A mix of man-made comforts and natural splendor, the clear waters at Kaanapali Beach are perfect for snorkeling and diving. A cement walkway runs parallel to the beach and features the occasional hammock, shopping kiosks and shaded bungalows. Be sure to catch the sunset lele kawa (cliff jumping) ceremony, which takes place on Puu Kekaa (aka Black Rock) daily.

Coming in out of nowhere, Makena Beach, otherwise known as Big Beach, is a Maui gem with a little over a mile-and-a-half of golden sands. Find space to stretch out, and trust us, there’s a lot of space, and set up a picnic or take a dip in the warm Pacific. Watch out, however, as the waves and shorebreak at Makena Beach can get large and unforgiving if there’s a south swell.

Flamenco Beach on Culebra Island gets our vote for the most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

La Monserrate, Luquillo
La Monserrate has long been beloved by both locals and tourists for its clear waters and family-friendly vibe. This is one of Puerto Rico’s handful of Blue Flag beaches, meaning it’s studiously kept up to make sure it’s clean, safe, eco-friendly, and, of course, stunning. The water is usually very calm, so it’s great for wee ones or the wave-averse. It lies in the northeastern Luquillo (and also goes by Playa Luquillo) -- the small town known as the “sun capital” of the island.

A sleepy beach town (accessible only by boat) about an hour south of Puerto Vallarta. The beach is wonderful and there are a half-dozen very good restaurants.

Isla’s North Beach is the best kid-friendly beach in Mexico. The town is walkable and relaxed and feels close to idyllic. The downside? Almost no local culture and the atmosphere is a little on the lame side. Oh, and you really have to hunt (and get out of the main town) to find good Mexican food.

PLAYA DEL AMOR, CABO SAN LUCAS
Eroded headlands tower dramatically over soft sand at Cabo San Lucas’s “lover’s beach.” Bodysurfers splash in the crashing waves on the Pacific side, while sunbathers and paddlers on the bay side drink in views of the Baja shoreline.

Mataking Island consists of two islands, the bigger Mataking Besar, and the smaller Mataking Kecil. Located in the Celebes Sea, Sabah, one can walk around these Malaysian beaches in about an hour.

A two-hour road trip from Kota Kinabalu (KK) to Kota Belud, followed by an hour’s speedboat drive will take you to the mesmerizing Mantanami Islands located in Kota Belud, Sabah. Myriad views of mesmerizing sea life thriving under the deep blue waters and the vividly colored corals with changing hues are a feast to the eyes, at this secluded beach in Malaysia.

23. Seagrass Bay, Laucala Island, Fiji This 7.5-square-mile private island paradise is a 50-minute charter flight from Nadi and worlds away from everyday life. Covered in tropical jungle (reached via guided walking tours or horseback rides), Laucala is home to some of the archipelago’s rarest birds and animals, pristine beaches, and spellbinding marine life.

Blue Beach (La Chiva), Vieques, Puerto Rico
A long, thin stretch of white sand and clear water makes this one of the Caribbean's top beaches.

If you are looking for the best beach destinations in Bali, Suluban Beach will definitely on the top of the list. Once you are here, you will be overwhelmed by the unique natural formation, azure blue ocean and the beautiful nature around. You can be there through the steps and log ramps through the narrow gaps of rocks. This small beach is the favorite destination of the surfers and the sunbathers.

We’ve all seen that iconic pic of the emerald green cliff-line soaring into the sky from the turquoise waters below. Well, that Insta-famous spot is located on Nusa Penida, the neighbouring island to Nusa Lembongan and just an hour’s boat ride away from mainland Bali. Much less built-up compared to Lembongan, Nusa Penida is for adventurous souls only. Expect dirt-track roads, hidden bays, local eateries, and untouched landscapes – all in their pure raw beauty. Head to Kelingking Beach to get that all-important Insta shot, but make time to explore the rest of the island too – it’s worth it.

The Gower coast is filled with gorgeous beaches, but we love Oxwich for the alluring mix of sand dunes, salt marshes, and woodland that back its two-mile sandy stretch, and for the pretty village of Oxwich, Wales.

Eroded by time and nature, Durdle Door is one of Dorset’s most photographed and iconic landmarks.
It is located on the Lulworth Estate in south Dorset and is part of the Jurassic Coast. The coastline is of such international geological importance that it was designated England’s first natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001 and is now part of a family of natural wonders including America’s Grand Canyon and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
