Just a little reminder.......

We loved our role play this year xx Santa sleigh with Rudolf was a massive hit xx The elves workshop dueled as a toy building and wrapping center xx the older children loved wrapping and gift tagging while the younger ones hid and opened them, Santa also delivered them in his sack xxx We wrote Christmas cards and Santa letters posting them in our elf box xxx Our story shelves proved popular too xxx Thomas turned into the polar Express and took the children on a trip round the sitting room to Christmas town after their tickets were stamped xxx Inspiring Imagination xx

Nutty Nooks First Christmas Dinner xx

What an amazingly crazy month. We have been super busy crafting away. Christmas cards, acorn robins, chocolate reindeer (milk free ones too), marshmallow snowmen (our milk free one lost an eye, hungry creator). We made bird friendly reindeer dust and magic candy cane seeds went home with everyone so the magic continues xxx

ooooohhhh I'm excited to share this weeks Christmas home activity xxx I hope my wonderful families keep the magic going xxx

Last year Nutty Nook placed something in a box each day of December in the run up to Christmas xx It was delivered to the Salvation Army xxx We will be doing it again this year and I would love it if the children could take part and help me fill the box xx We will be talking about the spirit of Christmas xxx family, friends, giving and recieving xx but also showing kindness to the less fortunate xxx food, toiletries, gloves, gifts etc anything that you can spare would be most welcome xxx

Our Christmas story shelves are all ready xxx Stick man is off visiting our Nutty Nook friends xxx

Just to let all my Nutty Nook families know we will be open over the festive period if any of my families need childcare. Please let me know asap. Thank You xx

After school tonight we went blackberry picking, washed and ate some. We met a humongosaure spider who hitched a ride to Nutty Nook I do hope he likes his new home OUTSIDE ! Tomorrow We will attempt to cook something with them. Please wish us luck cooking is not on my talent list.

I know we had some disappointed children last week at the loss of our mushroom gates. Unfortunately due to age and swelling I didn't think they would survive a wet autumn/winter. We now have new (boring brown) gates. However Karine EJArt has promised to do a new design when she returns from university in the nice weather.

Summer holidays have been and gone and Nutty Nook has had some amazing adventures.
Museum`s, duck feeding, parks, water parks, woods, beaches, cooking, craft, den building, Alnwick garden, and more. We had so much fun!!!!
We said goodbye to one of our friends and wish her well on her new adventure.
... We also welcome 4 New starters this week, looking forward to making new friends :) and extend the Nutty Nook Family xx
