Trip Payments
Please note that the following payments are due for trips, please pay by Parent pay or by Cheque at the Academy Office.
KS3 Spanish Trip- the last payment was due on 9.1.19, please ensure you are fully paid up.
... KS3 France Trip - the 3rd payment of £100 is due this Friday (25.1.19).
Year 7 Trip to Charterhouse -the 2nd payment of £35.00 is due Friday (25.1.19).
Year 5 classes R & A Trip to Stonehenge- the payment of £7 is due as soon as possible.

Year 6 Parents (first guinea pigs) Please look out for a letter regarding the New Sims Parent App which is being rolled out by the end of January. A copy of this letter can also be viewed/downloaded from our website 'Whats on'/letters. Other year groups to follow soon.

Lost Property The unnamed lost property that has accumulated since September is available to be claimed after school for the first 2 weeks of the Spring Term (up until Friday 18th January). After that time it will be donated or recycled. All items that are clearly named will be returned to their owners. Please encourage your child to claim their items, or pop in after school to look for any lost items. Thank you for your support.

Spring After school clubs
The After school club list has now been updated for the Spring term and can be viewed/downloaded from our website under the Parents/clubs header.
Application letters/ permission slips should be obtained from and returned to the club organiser/school office, or to the PE Office letterboxes for PE clubs. In accordance with our Safeguarding Policy, please ensure club leaders are informed, if for any reason your child is unable to attend a club or moves... to another club.
All children will have a place at clubs unless told differently. If a club is cancelled children can go to the Enrichment Centre.

Wednesday 16.1.19 the menu will be -
Cottage Pie/Ratatouille Pasta or Jacket potato with choice of filling.... Green Beans, Golden Corn.
Reduced sugar Pineapple & Peach Crumble with Custard.
Thursday 17.1.19 the menu will be -
Roast Beef with gravy & Roast potatoes/ Veggie Bolognaise with pasta or Jacket potato with choice of filling. Broccoli, carrots.

Happy new year to all our pupils, staff & parents . Last day of the holidays today. Pupils are back to school Monday 7th January 2019.

Very good school with excellent stewardship. In my experience so far, bullying is dealt with very effectively but communication between students, parents and the school is key to getting that to happen. Caring staff and interesting lessons. An all round good school!

I was there when it was Oakfield Secondary Modern (1966 - 1970) Can’t say that I loved school but I had a good time there. Mr. Hobby and then Mr. Arnold we’re Headmasters, Miss Stewart was Deputy Head, Mr. Lewis was in the Library. Mr. Claridge was music, Miss Narramore was DS. Mr. Ward and Mr. Connah was Maths........ I could go on!!!!! ������

Bullying seriously needs to be sorted out, don't think the school realises how bad it actually is, sort it out oakfield!
