Yep, they love the thistles!
Taking out ragwort manually, hot work. Spotted butterflys, dragonflys and bees on the thistles, they can stay, the cows love them too! Great to see nature reclaiming the natural balance without pesticides and herbicides
Tonight's tea with produce from the farm, we have courgettes available to those who love courgettes or like a challenge... they have aspirations to be marrows!
Our pastured poultry hens are laying, yay! They are only young so supply may be a bit erratic to start but let me know if you would like to try some, William has been having them for breakfast this past week and gives them a thumbs up!
Sooooo excited!! These ladies arrived on Wednesday... not really expecting eggs for a while but they have laid half a dozen already! :-)
First mini-harvest - broccoli. Tasted delicious!
Hay has been cut and baled.
Carrots going in, just need a spot of rain now!
