Super day out with the kids. Amusements kept them entertained for ages,
left a whole in my purse though. Brought back memories of my younger days.

Terrible place now. Went at around six o'clock and all rides were shut and fish and chip shops were closed. Only plus point was that the toilets stayed open until 21:00 and dogs could go on the beach after 18:00. Used to be a great place but heading the same way Whitley Bay did I think.

Excellent day out with the kids. Opens at 10 bit is pretty quiet before lunch.
Tesco Vouchers get you a good amount of tokens to use.

As a man of an age where arcades were EVERYTHING visiting the Pleasure Park is both nostalgic and sad. Takes me back to the joy of the 80's but clearly it's not got the same appeal. 90% of the machines are either penny falls (which my kids love and a pound lasts about 30m) or ticket machines (which, again, the kids love but the value annoys me)
The rides have had a bit if re-vamp and are fairly good value for money - £10 will get you on about 3 rides. Although these are definitely better for the younger child - not a lot of edge-of-the-seat adrenaline rushes.
I reckon enough to kill 2 hours maximum at a cost of around £15 per child

I have an autistic child and although you get a free band to help your child whith dla proof its pointless for lots of rides that you have to use tokens and dont accept the bands which isbstupid really as they all in the same premises and it costs a fortune when u have to buy tokens aswell also you get wrong for going strait back on same ride even when no cue also pointless

Over all the amusement park was ok accept one ride called the Miami Surf my two daughters got on the ride just as it finished my youngest came running to me in tears, the bars on the ride come down in sets of four she was at the end of one of the bars and as the ride started her arm was continuingly being bashed against her big sisters chair subsequently she ended up with a large bruise and a smaller one on her leg. The reason I'm rating this two stars is that she didn't feel safe, didn't feel secure and ended up with bruises on her arm and leg.

This place is so much fun, tickets for rides are reasonably priced its a good day out, so many fun things to do in and around ocean beach would reccommend 100%

The beach here is very clean and open. Although quite a walk from the metro station it is worth it as no stairs to access the beach. The rides are quite modest in price, roughly £2.50 for adult rides and £1.50 for child rides. There are also amusements with a ten pin bowling alley, laser quest, soft play and a few places to grab a bite. There is also a park nearby with a steam train that you can ride which is great for the kids, going around the park and small lake. On a sunny day I recommend visiting this area as my two young children thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't want to come home. A great day had by all and two very tired children by bedtime
