Never fails to please this place! Great tasting food even after driving 40minutes back to walsall! A proper british chippy! Great staff! And with a great range of gluten free food kept the missus happy aswell as she suffers from celiac! Top job Sean!

Last night was our first visit, We had a lovely warm greeting, we were shown the gluten free menu which was great, so much choice! Our food was boxed up so when we got home it was still piping hot, The food was great, we had one normal fish and chips with curry sauce and one gluten free, both just as yummy! Sean and Caroline were very clued up on the gluten free options!

We will definitely be going back!

I've eaten from the gluten free menu many times now but yesterday was my first time going into the shop myself. Sean was amazing and went to great lengths to make sure that my newly diagnosed daughter had food that she would eat and enjoy. We also had normal fish and chips and curry sauce that also tastes great. Oceans is the only chips shop or indeed takeaway I have found that not only offers fantastic quality but also the assurance that the food you are about to eat will not make anyone with coeliacs ill. Thank you so much to Sean and his wonderful team for a fantastic warm welcome and wonderful food.

Have eaten from Sean for over 8yrs now and never had a bad meal. Trusting someone when they say gluten free is a risk to being very poorly but this man is knowledgable and makes you feel like its no major problem or putting him out in any way. Thank you team

Great selection of dishes and love the fact they serve things I haven't seen elsewhere. Battered black pudding is amazing and I love the Belfast Pasties. Food is always fresh and amazing. It's amazing that the owner, Sean, has great community ethics too. He has really cleaned up the area.

First visit this evening and what a little gem this place is. The staff are very welcoming and the food is outstanding.



My husband is gluten/wheat intolerant and it's the first time he has enjoyed fish, chips and curry sauce. The owner who went above and beyond is so clued up on Coeliac disease and cross contamination.

First time to Oceans. Sean was welcoming as ever as we had been customers at his previous shops. Gluten free food was amazing, gf curry sauce especially! Even though it was a 40 mile round trip, the food was foiled and wrapped and still warm when we got home. Will definitely be return customers!��

Best chip shop around! since discovering it a few months ago we’ll never go anywhere else the staff are very friendly and welcoming and an added bonus they understand and are extremely knowledgeable about coeliac disease and intolerances! Not had vinegar for 11 years and now I have my own bottle thanks to Sean the lemon pepper fish is to die for� it’s my all time favourite � plus it’s the only chip shop that has become environmentally friendly ! Keep up the good work don’t stop doing what you good at� ......you should open up a restaurant!! �
