Just some of the new books we've got in recently
Matt Haig's writing has been described as 'A real-world guide to mindfulness" by The Observer and "Beautiful, honest and wise" by Fearne Cotton
... Owen Hatherley...'is the most informed, opinionated and acerbic guide you could wish for.' - Hugh Pearman, Sunday Times
and Seven Cheap Things by Raj Patel and Jason W Moore presents a new approach to analysing today’s planetary emergencies. They demonstrate that throughout history, crises have always prompted fresh strategies to make the world cheap and safe for capitalism, and proposes a radical new way of understanding—and reclaiming—the planet in the turbulent twenty-first century.

An indie bookshop is a precious thing - here you can get the latest mass-market titles, but they also have their own best-sellers list, a section for local authors, and all manner of interesting titles the chains don't stock. Oh, and ethical groceries too :)
