We took a trip out yesterday to have a look at the shop after seeing it on Facebook. It is a great shop. Everything was clean and lovely healthy stock. It's run by very helpful and friendly people. We'll definitely be popping back over the bridge again. Thank you for such competitive prices too � now I just need to find a way of getting that shrimp yummy gum out of the tub without making a total mess �

We called in to this underwater world this morning after looking at a car opposite, what a great place, and a very friendly and informative young man. I purchased 2 ember tetras which I'd never seen before. Definitely see you again.

Visited this shop yesterday, first impressions, fantastic. Lovely, friendly people. The layout of the shop is great, the appearance is modern and clean. Great coral bays with a variety of corals and frags to suit everybody, top quality products, great prices!...will definitely be going back!

Visited Hull this week to stop in at the Deep , as a huge fish enthusiast me and my wife decided to stop into the store on our way back to North Wales . The selection of fish was very good as was the variety of corals . I picked up a lovely euphyllia and zoa frag to add to my collection. If I am ever back in the area I will be returning . 5 ☆

Took a flyer off Steve at the Rydale aquatics show n auction, sounded interesting so thought we'd pop out from Laceby to have a look, definitely not dissapointed, the shop is a breath of fresh air, the freshwater section is a treasure trove of interesting and unusual fish n critters, make sure to look in all the tanks and then look again as you probably missed that gem hiding away, prices are "very" good too. An excellent marine section with loads of corals, frags n fish will give the marine enthusiast the choice they've long been without.

I came away very happy with my purchases and we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit, the welcome was lovely and the friendliness of the staff is a credit to you all, you are only 45 minutes away and even though I have an aquatic store less than 5 minutes away I will certainly be taking regular trips over the bridge to visit your store, many thanks for giving us back a quality aquatic outlet......Ant

Popped in for first-time the weekend and got to say this is the friendliest fish shop I have ever been too!

Louis (sorry if spelt wrong!) Is so friendly and we even met him mum!



Nothing is too much trouble and it's like talking to a fellow enthusiast not someone selling you something.

Prices are very reasonable too and quality and range of stock is second to none.



We travelled 35 mins each way but worth it.

Will definitely be returning very soon! x

On seeing this shop on Facebook and local places pricing themselves out of the market, I went with my family for a look and was amazed at the selection of marine corals on offer and fish that looked very healthy. I would defiantly recommend this place and will be returning in the near few months when I have my led light repaired for corals and fish. The staff are well clued up and are very friendly (even when I'm from the other side of the Humber river haha). Keep up the good work

Love love love this shop! Louis is awesome and his staff are amazing and ever so helpful! He doesnt mind me asking a million questions about my fish and the tanks! Wouldnt go to any other place! Not to mention the beautiful fighter fish (beta) i bought from his shop!

Just Great. Excellent selection of everything aquatic at good prices. Add to that a friendly welcoming atmoshere and you have probably one of the best of its type shops in the region. Fantastic lay out , huge selection and never been disappointed. Bit hard to find at first but worth looking for and checking out.

I'm new to keeping fish and I have found the staff to be very knowledgeable, happy to advise with excellent customer service. I have definitely asked a lot of silly questions and the staff have been very helpful. I would definitely recommend this business.

I went for a look yesterday as the shop had been recommended on Facebook, I came out with a new tank for my daughter's Siamese Fighter, light, filter and substrate lol. I only went in to look for some Dragon rock for my tank as the only place I've found it locally. There was no pressure selling, it was just that they exactly what I was after at very good prices (even the wife did not complain). I went back today for some more rock and plants. The owner is happy to talk and give advice if needed, I never felt that the advice was being given just so I would make a purchase. Very knowledgeable, I think I've found my new local fish store (and I live 15miles away lol).

I spotted this place by chance and glad I did. I would recommend it to anyone for all of your tropical and marine aquarium needs. Lovely helpful staff and this will definitely be where I go from now on

Found out about Octopus 8 aquatics today and gave them a call to see if there open, so we made a trip down and what a place very very clean staff are very helpful and we where made to feel welcome, and all our questions were answered. We was also taken around the shop explaining everything related to our questions and could see things working, we have tropical right now but are looking at also doing Marine as well. Thanks for your time and help

Called here a couple of weeks ago and picked a few acanthus frags and a couple of acro frags, while waiting to be served I listened to the advice that was been given to the other customers. This guy has the noledge to do what he is doing, the prices and quality of the stock were spot on. Really good shop impressed me

As an ex manager of Ferrybridge Aquatics and having a lifelong interest in fish when this shop opened just a mile away from where I live I just had to go and see it and hopefully find a local shop for my weekly needs. I was pleasantly surprised as the layout is modern with plenty of space for development as the shop grows and the stocking of good quality products not available everywhere else is a nice bonus for reef hobbyists although it's early days and the stocking level's are low probably due to cycling of tanks the potential is there nice people

good luck for the future hopefully a destination shop in the making in all areas of the hobby will call again, Alan Lee, Melton.
