Odd C, where have you been for over a week? Well fellow creeps, my eyes suck so I’ve not been doing much. But good news, this handsome fella is no longer having weekly vet appointments. He’s mouth, although took longer, had healed up great and he’s doing well on both eye gels he’s been prescribed. Such a relief.

The rest of this weeks doodles from the monster. Wednesdays page is a perfect example of how hard it it to get what’s inside my head into paper. I had an image of an wispy, shadowy figure but in pencil it looks like a scribble man.

Last summer I made a painting but the scan wasn’t great due to it being on a canvas board. I tried to edit it but my photoshop skills are atrocious. Almost a year later I’ve finally finished redrawing it using the iPad and app Sketches Pro. So many times I’ve put it down and left it for months but I’m so glad I’ve finished it at last. I really liked this piece and was crushed when it got lost in the post when sending it to a friend.

Friday was a long day so I did a few sketches of different types of eye doodles. Yesterday I didn’t do a page but today I scribbled down an idea I’ve been thinking of since last week.

Monday I opened up a clean sketchbook and decided it’ll be for monster and creature design. I’ll be using this book for references and ideas for future sculptures
