Milton Keynes Council are changing the way you get your recycling sacks. From next month, you will no longer be able to collect recycling sacks from us anymore. Instead they will need to be ordered online or by phone and will be delivered directly to you.

What a treasure this place is. Whatever size nut, bolt, battery, screw, hook, etc you need Odell will generally have it. From its knowledgeable and friendly staff right down to the typical old fashioned quaintness of the shop, it's a joy to visit. Stony Stratford was my hometown and it's charm and character come from not only its rich history, beautiful architecture and the great variety of things to do there but also from its wonderful High Street which is home to some fab little shops including Odell Ironmongers. This shop is every Dad's dream and whenever my Dad needed to pop to Odells, my brother and I were never far behind and I would always dream about going through each one of those little drawers behind the counter to see what treasures were held inside. Now I'm all grown up I love their little kitchen shop, it's a great place for gifts and gizmos for the kitchen. Keep up the good work Odell and Co.

This type of shop is few and far between, good old fashion service with people who will actually talk to you & are helpful , don't go here that often but every time u go there it's the same, car spares down the road is the same must be a Stony Stratford thing �

There is no other shop like Odells! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Whatever you ask they go out of their way to find it. When I go in I feel like part of the family. I love the endless drawers of screws etc....full of surprises!

Odell does it again. Our community group made some steps and used rebar to partially stabilise each step. Knocking them 80cm into the ground left a couple a bit wonky or not shored up against each step. A visit to inlaws and a trip to Stony Stratford led to Odell's with a question "Do you sell any massive fencing staples that are wide enough to secure 20mm rebar to a wooden step?". Yes they did. and they were less than 60p each. What a n amazing shop.

I love Odells! I haven't lived in MK for nearly 18 years but love to pop in whenever I visit - they've always got something I need and haven't found elsewhere.

I know of no other shop that stocks such a wide range of ironmongery and associated products at reasonable prices, and where else could you buy loose screws, nuts and bolts? The service is great in the traditional way of offering sound technical advice with polite, friendly staff. Long may they serve!

High five to Odell's (again) for helping me fix a radiator for the grand sum of 32 pence (cost of two wing nuts).

Have used Odells for years for a vast range of items I have needed! more importantly they are a great bunch of friendly characters and always happy play along when we send our apprentices in for the usual long waits and tartan paint... infact they did the same to me when I was a Saturday lad over 16 years ago!
