We highly recommend watching Monty Halls’ My Family and the Galapagos which is just about to start (Sat 8pm channel 4).
Odyssey, Monty’s old boat, continues to do her bit to protect the marine environment, we’ve picked up a number of plastic bottles, bags, fishing line and even floating party balloons today which can look like tasty snacks and can get entangled on the local wildlife...

Wow !!! We was lucky enough to experience this on Saturday. There’s no better way to see Newquay then from the ocean. It was informative beautiful and exciting all at the same time. The crew was fab and we felt very safe. This is a must when visiting Newquay.
What a fantastic trip my son and I had. Crashing waves, but such a smooth riding boat and laughing with the people in front who were getting sprayed! Felt totally safe and great views of the coast I know from the shore. Seals , Poldark Rock, cormorants and sunfish were seen and we were looking out for the “Cornish Penguins”. After that we were smoothly returned to the harbour where they promptly had to run off as the Coastguard had a call out. Impressive display seeing the two lifeboats launch with one of the crew being our boat driver!
Well worth it. Me, my new wife and son booked onto the boat and we were not disappointed. We saw parts of Cornwall that we never knew existed. The wildlife was amazing, the banter and stories from the crew was brilliant, and it was a thrill when the skipper opened the throttle and went for it and topped off with a couple of donuts as we entered the harbour. Our 12 year old was a little nervous about the boat but he was reassured by Matthew (one of the crew) and we all felt completely safe from the moment we stepped aboard. We will definitely be booking this experience again the next time we’re in Newquay
We went on a coasteering adventure combined with Newquay Watersports Center. The boat was awesome and the crew were fantastic. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
I’d highly recommend a trip with this company if you’re in the area.
We went on a Wildlife Adventure and it was absolutely brilliant. You don't just get to see seals and different bird species but you get to see the coastline from a totally different perspective. It was exhilarating when we sped along the coast. Pete and Matt the skippers are so nice and incredibly knowledgeable. I can't wait for the next adventure and will definitely be taking my friends and family when they come and visit us!
We had an excellent adventure on the boat this morning which will last in our memories! Matt and Pete are super friendly and make you feel very safe. The boat is brilliant and can go really fast but also slows down so you can take in the wonderful views, magical caves and awesome wildlife. My 9 year old daughter loved it, (especially the 360 at the end!!)
We had a great trip on Bank Holiday Monday. I took my husband, two kids and my dad and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The kids sat up front and loved going fast and seeing the seals. My dad enjoyed the tales of smugglers and seeing where they used to bring in the contraband. I loved seeing the coastline from the water and the beautiful rock formations. Matt and Pete made us all feel very safe. Thank you guys. We will be back!
We did the 1/2 hour fast boat trip today and would totally recommend it. Our daughter (aged 8) loved seeing the seals and how fast we went. Great way to see the lovely local scenery and seals close up. Enjoy!
We booked a boat trip for our son’s 12 birthday and although we live in Newquay we totally loved having a tour of our beautiful coastline. The boat was awesome and the kids loved seeing the seals who popped up to see what we were doing! Super friendly guys too would defo recommend

Wanted to say a massive thank you to Odyssey Marine Adventures for an Ultimate boat experience. Absolutely loved shooting through the huge surf in such spicy conditions, watching my dad getting sprayed in face was definitely a highlight for me. I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful Cornish coastline from out to sea and getting up so close to the sea life, saying hello to Sally the Sunfish on the way. Matt and Pete were excellent, I felt very safe in their hands and it was great to hear all of their stories and knowledge on the local area. I would definitely recommend this trip. Cheers guys!
These guys are awesome. Took a group of 30 from a local youth surf club out as part of a coasteer adventure. Highly recommended, 30 totally stoked Wave Slaves (and instructors) THANK YOU!
These guys are amazing really friendly and accommodating, had an amazing time on the extreme Ride. This is defo worth booking We will be back next year 100% ��

Had an awesome wildlife safari trip with Matt and Pete today. I was nervous of the size and power of the boat and the waves were huge. The guys made me feel very relaxed - one is a lifeboatman and the other a coastguard, I couldn't have been in safer hands. I felt very at ease on the trip and the power of the boat was comforting especially with the sea conditions. It was great listening to their local knowledge of the coastline, history and marine wildlife that Cornwall has to offer. We saw seals a variety of birds and a sun fish. I would recommend this trip to everyone, in fact I wouldn't go with anyone else as it was so enjoyable and I felt so comfortable. Thank you Pete and Matt.

Brilliant afternoon with beautiful weather and clear seas. Relaxed personal atmosphere with lots to see; seals, sea birds and caves to explore. The RIB we travelled on was fantastic. The trip was worth every penny and definitely coming again, highly recommend.
