The house smells all Christmasy, the first batch of 26 gluten free christmas cakes are in the oven. The dried fruits have been soaking in kraken spiced rum since Sunday. Once they have cooled they will be wrapped in brown paper and "fed" twice a week with even more spiced rum! The Kraken Rum

It's the cosmo Queens birthday tomorrow so obviously there was only one kind of cake to make for my son . Happy early birthday, enjoy your cosmopolitan cake. It's laced with vodka, Cointreau, lime, orange and cranberries.

Made some lovely little violet biscuits and some mini cranberry and orange scones for an afternoon tea themed party. I was asked to make them look "home made and rustic".
