The OPS Dissolved Air (or gas) Flotation are bespoke units designed for the problem in hand. Generally recirculation types with fine control on the white water production using adjustable air flow meters. The OPS Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is tough and is designed to your process requirements. Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) are designed for high rate removal of scum and sludge as they are installed down stream of the OPS Electrocoagulation unit. We will soon bring together all of our technologies to the newly opening plant located in Derby (UK). The plant will open in May 2015 and process contaminated solids and water; it will incorporate mechanical screening, washing, scrubbing, Electrocoagulation Water Treatment, OPS High Rate Thickener and a GEA Westphalia Centrifuge. The plant will give organics suitable for AD plants, rubbish for RDF plants, sand and aggregates for the construction industry, silt cake for blocks and importantly it will be water neutral.

"OPS Ltd are part of a 3 company team who have secured a large Innovate UK grant. The grant is to enable the design and manufacture of a prototype MVR unit. The unit will be manufactured from non-metallic materials making it lightweight, portable and affordable. The unit will be completed in the autumn. Primarily targeted at the fracking and general oil industry it will also be aimed at RO effluent particularly from landfill leachate applications."

The trial unit is a trailer mounted EC unit designed to plug in front of an existing DAF (or we can provide this too). Following a trial we will produce a report outlining usage of consumables and energy consumption for your waste water.
... It just hooks up via a 2" camlocks before your floatation unit and is powered by a 63 Amp safety plug. This means it can be set up in minutes. The system also has remote monitoring so OPS can monitor the unit from our office if desired.
