bought my mum up for a meal out this evening as been before and we really enjoyed it, even when busy it's still a nice atmosphere the food is good and the prices are reasonable. the staff are always nice and polite too

What an amazing surprise this was this morning. Very rarely travel north up the A1 (normally go M1), so when we stopped for petrol, my husband suggested we grabbed some much needed brunch. A warm welcome was followed by friendly, fast and faultless service. Two breakfasts later, a couple of refill coffees, a diet coke and two happy customers, we were admiring the decor and planning an American roadtrip... Food was as described, hot, tasty and hit the spot. Would certainly recommend!

Visited today as we was passing through!! Very nice and friendly place, the milkshakes are amazing and the eye candy behind the counter topped the visit off ���

The prices are not necessarily the cheapest you will find but the portions and quality of the food more than make up for it. Leaves Ed’s Diners in its wake

Still loving every visit and still popping in for them dope milkshakes. Luckily ok is only 7 or 8 miles away to satisfy my cravings

Regularly travel on the A1 and usually stop off at the Little chef, since they have disappeared decided to stop here having drove past many times.

With the weather being hot and having a dog it was nice to sit outside. The waitresses were very attentive & pleasant even providing some water for the dog.

Had a full English then a pancake stack for afters both very nice and filling and abit cheaper than the Little chef.

Looks great inside and certainly my new breakfast stop on this route.

No downsides except I wished I come here years ago and saved a fourtune. Driving back onto the A1 looks abit hairy but that's always been the case

Not been for a while so nice to see a few additions to the menu. Two of us had burritos and another the chicken burger with sweet potato fries ( really good) and cheese and bacon fries. Food really good, every tasted really fresh. My only quibble was a soon as we sat down the waitress asked us what drinks we wanted, we hadn't even looked at the menu. Slow down, apart from that really good.

It was fab! I was well full up after my dinner

Had a salad that was amazing and a great price , good prompt service polite staff great atmosphere will call again

Everytime we go here the food is faultless refill coke and i dont like milkshake but my missus loves your bubblegum milk shake like i said amazing the only complaint is staff are in faded and old uniform and a few times ive been in and the managers are not tucked in or presentable but they are minor details to me but food speed and hospitality 100%

Every time we call in here the food is great and the staff very welcoming. Remember Wednesday is £6 burger all day. But don't just go on a Wednesday call in for breakfast. The Yanky Doodle Dandy is great and the bottomless coffee fantastic. It sets you up for the day.

Absolutely love coming to diner the food is amazing and the staff can’t be anymore welcoming to you and your family.. can’t wait to come again

We frequent this place semi regularly and the food is always good.

However, the waitress that set our table appeared to have an issue with personal hygiene. Here hair looked very greasy and an untiday appearance.

One other observation was my breakfast wrap could have done with some ketchup inside it. Very tasty but a little dry.

Waiting for half an hour for the food, the bbq ribs served burnt, don't like sitting near the kitchen smells cooking oil. It used to be a good service but this time not anymore.

Pricey? considering it's on the A1..No. £9 for burger..nice though and fast, not MCd/BK fast..but fast enough so ya not hanging about, nor so slow that ya think they have gone out back to kill the cow.If ya get me...free coffee refills, just like the US of A. Nice decor, clean a pleasant surprise to be honest. Staff were nice and friendly..oh and free WIFI lol. They do offer free kids meals with a loyalty card..but couldn't find one. Would I go again? aye.
