Simply brilliant! My new favourite place to eat! Food was eye rolling back in the head delicious, service was impeccable and I walked out feeling loved and special! A must for everyone! Get those popcorn mussels ready guys we are on our way �

Myself and my fiancé came for dinner last night, the food is amazing we really enjoyed our evening and managed to get a table last minute! Thank you for fitting us in! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were there Friday for our joint birthday celebration. He'd booked us a table after reading the review in the Guardian. The service was brilliant and the food was excellent. We had two starters - bread with beer butter and the amazing popcorn mussels. We shared a further four dishes - white cabbage, chicken liver, pork belly and lemon sole. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back to try the other dishes!

Highly recommend. Amazing food, lovely staff and the decor is also awesome.

Food was outstanding. The carrots, the cured salmon and gnocchi where absolute belters. Definitely make room for the popcorn mussels and the chocolate nemesis too. In fact just order it all, and all the wine... and all the Black Lodge beers too. Boss restaurant, boss staff, kitchen right in the room. Couldn't fault the place.

Fantastic meal last night for my birthday. Whole grilled mackerel, popcorn mussels, sourdough bread, the burrata! So hard to pick a stand out dish as they were all beautifully unique and bursting with flavour. We will be back very soon.

Attended the set food and wine pairing last night. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere and excellent explanation of the wines. Made me buy a bottle of dessert wine for the first time in my life. The Morecambe Sea bass was beautiful. Thanks and all the best for your future services.
