the chilli truffles are the best chocolate I have had in veeeery long time!! shame I live so far away from Ambleside as I would be visiting every week! keed going :)

We popped in here on our mini-moon and wow what beautiful chocs! Picked a variety of chocolates up for us and some fun chocs for the children! Yummy!

Fantastic and helpful staff too.

We always call in when we are in Ambleside. The staff are all very friendly and are a pleasure to chat to, regardless of who is behind you in the queue! However I never get off lightly with my order as the whole family love the wide assortment of chocolates and nobody buys the same item.



My only dilemma is: which do I prefer the milk chocolate caramel or the dark chocolate? I can never decide so are forced to buy both! Good job I've already walked to the lake + back! then they're calorie free!

The best chocolate I’ve ever tasted! And they actually make their own chocolates unlike the others near by. I also loved watching them make the chocolates!

My parents bought our family lots of chocolate covered marshmallows. They are just yummy. Shame we live in Kent and my parents Aberdeenshire or we'd call in for more! When next up that way we'll call in.

Coming from France, I've been visiting friends in Ambleside who offered to get chocolate after lunch as a dessert. We use to eat many amazing chocolate in Paris, but the home made chocolates from Old Bank House were incredible, the owner even offered me to order from France and send it to me. Now, I just can't wait to get my package and eat those chocolates again with my family for a French Christmas with a English touch ! Thanks Old Bank House ���

Beautiful chocolate! We popped in twice during our week holiday and the lady who served us was lovely. Absolutely delicious - do you deliver via post?!

An avid fan of Salted Caramel, I think I have just had thee best Salted Caramel Chocolate Cups I have ever had! Delicious!!
