Old Book Publishing Ltd takes care in preserving the wording and images of the original books. For this reason we have invested in technology that enables us to enhance the quality of such reproduction. This investment helps overcome problems encountered when reproducing old books, such as stains, coloured paper, discolouration of ink, yellowed pages, see-through and onion skin type paper.
Our reproduction books, produced from digital images of the originals, may contain occasional defects such as missing pages or blemishes due to the original source content or were introduced by the scanning process.
The scanned pages and the quality of print represents accurately the print quality of the original books, though we may have been able to enhance it.
As the books have been scanned and /or reformatted from the originals we cannot guarantee that are error-free or contain the full content of the originals.
However, we believe that the work they contain is culturally important, and despite its imperfections, have elected to bring it back into print as part of our commitment to the preservation of printed works.
