Old Buckenham Airfield

We love the Old Buckenham Airfield, we are regular visitors to the museum and the wonderful airshow. Our family loves the place, it’s friendly and Jimmys is a hidden little gem that serves great coffee and lunches.

Very nice airfield in the countryside. Friendly staff both at the airfield and in the café. Staff was helpful even though some of us didn't speak good English. I recommend and I will be happy to come again!

We booked a flight for my boyfriend last christmas, we went last week and travelled 45min to find that the plane isnt working, we were supposed to go on the 27th and they didnt contact us the day before to notify us, so we called them in the morning and the flight has to be cancelled again! I know its not all their fault but they should keep better care of their planes. A good point to make is the food is nice.

We popped in here for a bacon roll and cuppa whilst at The Old Buckenham Air Show. They were rushed off their feet but coped very well! We will certainly return when it is open between a Thursday and Sunday to appreciate it more!

Our family are regular visitors to Old Buckenham Airfield - to both the organised events and casual visits through the year. We have always found the staff very welcoming and helpful. The refreshments go down well especially with the children. There are a number of events held throughout the year - vintage vehicles and cycles as well as the interesting aircraft . We have no hesitation in recommending you to visit

Encountered extraordinarily rude airfield owner when I was trying to access a business on the airfield after having lunch there. Service slow, burger fatty and cheap, prices low, but maybe I'm biased. Sad to see the buildings looking scrappy, cracked glass, uninviting, very 'clique'.

I used to operate from there so maybe it's just me but no longer recommended.

Took part in a tandem skydive for my 40th . Worth every penny . Falling at 120 mph from 12,000 feet was fantastic . Well recommend it as a treat or gift :-)
