We have a cracking Comedy programme over the next few months with a few more to announce. Tickets for all the below are onsale now!
myself my hubby and granddaughter popped in here couple of weeks ago on a wee trip down from Glasgow the food was amazing we've told everyone about it
loved the band they were fabulous .Don't like drinking from plastic glasses don't like standing all night .,
What a venue, my two boys are part of a band, Down 2 Earth, they attend Rocket Theatre Band night and in July played there 1st gig at the old fire station, the whole experience from start to finish was ace (their words) they cannot wait for the next gig, and loved the fact the old fire station used one of their songs on their own page. Here's to the next gig and many more. Thank you.
What a great place... Carlisle has been crying out for a place like this.... Fab night at the comedy gig last night - Iain Sterling.... Great crack and love the look of the place.... Even better the fact that I won a competition and got two free tickets ! Will definitely be returning for future events ! Great work everyone involved.
Went to smiths tribute act as a competition winner on Facebook. Good venue for bands and a decent pint available.
Went to see space, much better than I was expecting. Really got the crowd going. Venue was fantastic, exactly what carlisle and Cumbria needed. Will definitely be attending again.
Went to see a band called The Breath last night, hadn't heard of them really but took a punt anyway, and I've got to say they were brilliant! I would recommend doing as I did and taking a punt on even the lesser known acts as you may just stumble upon a wee gem! 👍🏼
Went to see The Lancashire Hot Pots last night and they were brilliant!! Great staff and an amazing place!!
Went for a late lunch. Great place and lovely food. Can't fault it. Will definitely be back
Top nights watching Lee nelson. This is my 2nd visit to watch stand up and both times been bang on 👍🏼
This is a great venue, quite possibly my favourite 400 capacity gig ever.
Great layout. Decent bar. Efficient staff. Easy parking.
Can't fault it really.
Seen Blue Sky Illusion on the 4th Feb top class band and top class venue - book them again
Saw Skerryvore here last night with my boyfriend they were brilliant as always, fantastic night, great Venue really lovely staff working behind bar. Hope to see other bands here in the future.
👌🍹🎶💃
Saw Joel Dommett last night. What a fantastic show. He was hilarious, I've never laughed so much in ages. A real mid week tonic without the gin I do hope you get him back in the near future. First time at this venue and it is perfect!!
Really brilliant venue natural vibes and character of the original with cafe, stain glass window and rocking live stage and parquet floor gallery
Really nice place
Could do with bit more air conditioning as was really hot
Loved everything about the venue, great layout! Definitely be back again one day! Thank you.x
Last train to skaville supported by Reggie last night. Two great bands, brilliant venue. Well played Dunno!!!!! x
Great venue. Friendly staff. Had a great night listening to live bands. Can't wait to go back. Just what Carlisle needs
Great venue, we hired it for a private party and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One of the best venues in Carlisle by far.
Great venue, great staff. Firefest was a fabulous showcase for up and coming local bands. Would be great as an annual event👍
Great venue with a wide variety of artists performing, from upcoming local bands like Vorstellan (who are very good hard rockers) to well established bands like The Peatbog Faeries (who had the place really buzzing) and the brilliant 'Mighty Doonans' who are one of the best live acts I have seen in a long time. The Old Fire Station Is putting on some great acts, and allowing up and coming bands to play there along with those who have been going for years and years, (Mighty Doonans!!) they show they are keen to support the ongoing music scene now thriving in Carlisle. Keep it up. Well done.
Great place.....we loved it. Nice friendly atmosphere, real ale and live bands. What could be better? Can see the OFS really taking off. Well done to all concerned...............we will definitely be back. :-)
Great place with a very neat line up. Super food and coffee too.
Great night watching the pastures and amazing value for money at £5. Sounds and lightning were good a pity about the low turn out but still a good night. Please keep it up
Great night again and like the way the old fire station has a variety of acts and last night was a excellent combination of a musical history lesson and great classical guitar of songs between 1600's and 1920's from Cumberland and Westmorland. Also like there is a wide choice of non alcoholic drinks. Keep it going.
Fantastic venue, great size for gigs , staff very friendly. Overall great place
Fantastic venue for live music and shows. Would highly recommend it
Excellent venue, very friendly & welcoming Staff. Establishment very clean and modern while still keeping to original feel to the place. Loved every minute there
Excellent place friendly staff good range of drinks including real ales nice venue for live music
Excellent live venue. Come on Carlisle people, please support it. At a gig last night to see an excellent band Travelling Band and there was only SEVENTEEN of us there!! Made for a fantastic intimate gig though. For an encore three band members got off the stage and joined us to do an acoustic number. Very special night. BUT that's not what the venue needs, it needs YOU!
Best thing to happen in Carlisle for ...well ever
Amazing venue! Great staff played a show here a few nights ago and were looked after so well! Some of the best food and sound we have ever had thank you :)
A fabulous venue with fantastic staff who couldn't have been more helpful, we really enjoyed playing there.
Wonderful concert last night with Ensemble 360. But only 11 in the audience! If you don't get some publicity organised, there won't be many more concerts.
Really impressed, nice food and friendly staff . Bigger than what I expected
Really great venue and I would of gave it 5* but the prices for drinks are extortionate, over £7 for a pint of coke and a pint of lager.
Really good venue. Went to see Lancashire hotpots. Brille group. Only prob is people coming in with drinks and spilling them over you when dancing. Looking forward to Lee Nelson later in April. Been to see a play in October last year which was also v good. Really versatile venue. XX.
I enjoy attending the gin society festival, this was my first time at the old fire station. Disappointed the toilets were out of action as I'm not a lover of porta loos .
