Went to this lovely pub on the way to the safari park 20th Feb with my wife and two daughters.

Couldn't fault the welcome and the food was genuinely exellent we will definitely be going back

Two for £10 meals are good value served quite quickly friendly place to eat would return again

Love the Old House At Home, Blakedown. Fabulous food at very reasonable prices. Loads of choice and the 2 mains for £10 makes it an even better deal.

Staff are always very friendly and always obliging if you want to tweak your choice a bit from the the menu choices.

Good selection of beers and ciders and plenty of non alcoholic drinks too.

Great outdoor seating.

Great family friendly pub!! The 2 for £10 meals are delicious and great value for money! Both my kids love the food here (which is a bonus because they are fussy eaters!!) ..always a warm friendly welcome from the 2 managers and all of the staff!! Well done!!

Got back from a long long drive me and the wife popped in had lovely meal and a drink there was a open fire the staff are very good

Go here lots to eat and drink. Foods always lovely. Last night was fish and chips. Also used the mobile bar for a party. Top place and top people.

Came here yesterday with my family for lunch amazing service, amazing food, great quality would definitely recommend to my friends & family amazing main meals on offer 2 for £10 all day every day, and the desserts are absolutely lovely good choice with all the food! Very pleased we will be returning!

We went for a family meal, 30 of us in total, had a table booked for 7.15 for 7.30, with people still eat, did not manage to sit till 8 o'clock gone, we were split, so we had to get up and mingle which was not a problem, however when the meal was eventually ordered we did not start eating till nearly nine o'clock, the food and service was excellent once received, and would go again, but in a smaller group, staff brilliant, food good, definitely go again

Visited with my partner on a (very cold) Tues lunchtime. It was lovely to sit and eat by the open fire. The service was brilliant and the food arrived quickly and was lovely. We chose this pub because I heard it has a Slimming World inspired menu. Was a bit disappointed that there were only 3 options available on the Slimming World menu but otherwise enjoyed our visit and we will be visiting again. More options please to us slimmers to achieve 5 stars

This is a real homely pub with very cheap food, two for £10.00 how cheap is that, I usually have the fish and curly fries, and peas which is well worth the money. You get what you pay for, but I haven't sent anything back, its really a cheap night out

Popped in for lunch, completely spur of the moment. Very congenial staff, good and varied menu choices. Liver & onions fabulous, and apparently the steak and ale pie was very good too. If we were ever passing at lunchtime again we would certainly stop, very nice pub.

Only had dishes from the 2 for £10 menu, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just the right portion size for a small appetite and I ate all my chips. Not keen on chips, so this is a good sign for well cooked crispy 'uns.

With a drink as well, lunch for £15.

Have used this pub alot over the last couple of years but had a Xmas meal last night and was extremely disappointed with the food. Not sure if we caught them on an off day but prawn cocktail had no texture and just didn't seem right so it wasn't eaten and the soup was very bland. The main course wasn't great either. Sprouts were well under cooked . The beef wasn't off a joint it's was processed and the Turkey very good either and I also had a stork from the beans on my plate. Food came very quick but after each course plates were left for a long time before anyone came over. For the amount of food we left on the plates I would have expected someone too ask if everything was okay but noone did. I've always had great service at this pub but extremely disappointed with the whole meal and service we received last night. So all in all the service was poor. Hope we just caught them on an off day
