One of our lovely guests, Gillian, sent us this video this morning, with a little reminder that birds don’t just need feeding, but also need a drink, especially in this hot weather. Look how many birds are loving Gillian's offering!
And that got us thinking that we should get some special Old Oaks bird drinkers / baths made for our abundance of feathered friends on the park. What do you think? 🐦🐤🦆

Another wonderful sunset over the park today. Bring on a week of fantastic weather.

User

Wow! Check this beautiful photo by Mike Jefferies Photography 😍

User

cannot rate this place high enough! the cabin which we stayed in was so beautiful and comfortable and clean, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the hot tub was lovely, and all the baby lambs onsite are adorable! i really recommend staying here and i will definitely be back to stay again one day. thank you! x

User

Well what can I say other than fabtastic ! From the staff to the pitches everything is superb. Never have I been to a camp site and after a week not be ready to leave. We will return for sure. Pure bliss thank you for a great week.

User

We have just stayed at this site for 4 nights in our Caravan, it is by far the best site that we have ever stayed at, from our arrival to our departure the staff were most helpful and nothing was to much trouble, the facilities are impeccable, there are plenty of walks and a view from the Glastonbury Tor is a must for all, this is a very dog friendly site and also offers a shower for your dirty Mutt, we loved this place and highly recommend it, without doubt we will return again in the Summer with friends, Old Oaks we thank you Connie & Sue

User

We have had three beautiful days here at Old Oaks. We are fairly local but oh my this has to be by far the best site we have ever stayed.

Everyone so friendly the views are stunning .

The pitches are super nicely set out with individual hedges between.

If I could score this place higher than a five I would give it a 10.

Will most definitely be returning.

Perfect weekend away or much longer.

Thank you Old Oaks from Peter and Kathy

User

This was our very first adventure as newbie caravanners and we couldn’t have picked a better site to start with! The staff were friendly and very helpful, amazing shower blocks, beautifully kept site, central base for sightseeing the area - would thoroughly recommend.

User

This Campsite is pure luxury, it is immaculate and very clean. The facilities better some of those in top branded hotels that I have stayed in. Very dog and people friendly, idyllic surroundings, helpful staff and peaceful..comes very highly recommended! Please pass on my grateful thanks to all the staff who made my stay a very enjoyable one, I will be back!

User

The Hilton of caravanning! Everything is just perfect from the moment you arrive until your departure. First class staff all round, they are all happy to help in any way, sharp or form. Massive pitch size, beautifully kept gardens, fantastic shower/toilet facilities. Our 5th visit in 2 years and will continue to return. Thank you Old Oaks.

User

Simply the best site we’ve ever been to.

The cleanliness, the accommodation & facilities for us & our dogs, the location, the staff, faultless. We never tire of visiting this beautiful place.

Thank you for having us, we will see you again soon.

Cheers.

User

Our first time at OldOaks campsite, finally made it after the snow put a stop to it a while back, anyway a fantastic site with a well run setup and lovely staff. The site is spotless, the loos, shower blocks etc are 5 star, you will not find better toilet blocks on any other site in this country, like my wife said the new toilet/shower block is like a posh salon. there is a lovely little fishing lake at the bottom of the site which i hope to try out the next time we visit, the walk upto the Tor is well worth it for the views. Well don't take mine and others views on this place as fairy tales come and try it for yourselves you will not be disapponted 👍..

User

Oh this site is wonderful, amazing, fantastic, superb etc., etc., etc. Not our first time here and won’t be our last. Large hardstanding individual pitches with grassed area and shrubs to the side. Plenty of room for the largest outfit, with awning and room for the car as well. We had a fully serviced pitch, with electric, water and waste water. The shower block is very good as well. Well appointed individual rooms with toilet, sink and enclosed shower cubicle - enclosed with proper walls and a door! No shower curtains!! No push button showers either. Plenty of room to shower and get dried. A little fold down chair and plenty of hooks. The laundry room are also in the shower blocks, one of these has a washer and dryer exclusively for the dog bedding! There is a large enclosed dog walk with a dog shower complete with hot and cold water. The newly renovated shop and reception is full of goodies and the staff are pretty good as well! There are plenty of walks from site, Glastonbury Tor is a nice steady, very uphill, walk away. Well worth doing for the views. Street and Wells are a short drive away, with Glastonbury itself within a couple of miles. The site arranged delivery of meals from local takeaways on certain nights e.g. fish & chips on Fridays and Chinese on a Saturday. Really useful!

This truly is a 5* park. Our dogs think it should be 5 “paws” as well.

User

Love it, love it, love it! It always feels like coming home when we arrive at Old Oaks as we first came here in our tent in 2002/03. The bathrooms are better than ours at home (note to self: we need to stay home to refurbish). Everything is kept so clean and tidy. The birds sing a sweeter song, and one more thing ... we love it!

User

Just spent a week here and I can honestly say this is the most amazing fantastic campsite we have EVER stayed at. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pitches a brilliant size. The facilities are great and we loved the showers and individual room! 5* isn’t enough if I could give 10* I would. We will certainly be back!

User

Just had 7 nights in cedar lodge no 3 the views are beautiful lovely clean site the fishing really good and the layout with all the glorious flower beds, a really beautiful place everything you need on site and the lodge has everything just take towels. You won’t believe how peaceful it is

User

User

Fantastic site with unprecedented facilities - the shower blocks are state of the art and impeccably clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed by the daily food deliveries, be they curry night, pizza night or fish and chips on a Friday. And as for the automated crapper cleaner - it had to be tried out and by 'eck, it didn't half clean out the cassette without any hassle or smell.

I would thoroughly recommend Old Oaks for a leisurely stay.

User
