Visited for the first time yesterday. The Sunday roast beef dinner was the best I've had in a very long time. Friendly, attentive staff and great surroundings :) x

Superb food, wonderful quirky decor, very family friendly and run by people who really know what they are doing and passionate about doing it well. We are so pleased something like this has opened up in Baldock and are looking forward to popping in whenever we can. Thanks all.

My mum and myself visited on 4th may. We certainly made the right choice. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The service we received from all staff was excellent. The food we had what can I say cannot wait for my next visit. Well done all.

My favourite place to eat the staff and the food are fantastic the pub is comfortable friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing with lots of menu changes to stop you getting bored if there were more stars I'd happily award them

Lovely pub with a really nice atmosphere. Food was delicious, all freshly cooked to order, staff were very attentive and customer service was great. Will definitely be returning for a decaf cuppa and a piece of cake , and to try out the Wednesday chefs special meals.

Dropped in with my Fiancé and a friend last night completely randomly for a beer while out and about. Best decision we have made in a while, a good selection of ales and other drinks, and then we spotted the free food on the bar. We didn't touch the free food as this was our first visit, but decided to order off of the menu. We ordered the LIBERTY pizza, which had pastrami, baby gherkin and dijon drizzle on it. I can safely say this is one of the best pizzas I have ever had, and we appreciated the chef doing a check back on us. We will definitely be back, and I'm even considering it as the destination for my 25th Birthday this year. The atmosphere and decoration is brilliant too.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Amazingly friendly staff, super tasty food!! Very creative decor!!! We have come from chester. And would come back just for a pizza from here!! Brilliant well done guys ��

Very relaxed atmosphere. The food was very good, we had pizzas.

Very good pub, our food was delicious and very friendly staff. Only thing they could improve on would to be checking the tables more to check if their glasses needed refilling which is an easy fix. We will be going back and would recommend it.

Steak stroganoff was amazing, hubby and another said steak & ale pie was great & others had different steaks which they said had been cooked well. Compliments to the Chef. �

Lovely beer in the lovely garden with our two dogs - just the thing when sun shining �

Not sure about this place to be honest. Inflated prices. Decor nice ish. Customer service v good. Would I rush back ...... probably not. But give it a try folks .. :-D

Not rating food disappointed to be turned away when most tables where empty being told fully booked. Great for a new business you think. Passed again on the way home 2 hours later and tables still empty. I suppose its my own fault for not being organised and booking however couldn't find the new number

One man serving behind the bar took 20 minutes to get a drink food was okay very expensive one bottle of Prosecco £28

It was the worst. Baby changing toilet was high of ammonia. My friends chicken was burnt. It was sent back to be told it's the was it's meant to be eaten. They sent the garlic bread to a different table. The manager I'm pretty sure it's not qualified for the job as he was quiet snappy.
