Went in on way to Cheshire oaks for dinner with my wife and children staff where very friendly and polite food was outstanding cooked beautifully and tasted great will definitely go back and would recommend this pub to anyone

Was there on Saturday with 11 other ladies. We had the festive menu and it was lovely. Everyone said how much they liked there meal. The dinner it self was nice and hot and the desserts were amazing. The only downfall was there was a table of lads behind us who were quite noisy had one to many. But it's Christmas and the football was on so it was what it was. I would highly recommend going for festive meal.

Visited last night for the new specials menu....amazing food...great service...really good value for money...thank you chanelle for looking after us

Oh something I recommend for the Wirral Hundred itself ... Get hotter currys I want more of a challenge .

The Old Wirral Hundred is a lovely welcoming pub. We refer to it as our local as we call in for a meal when we have hospital appointments in Chester! We live "On the other side of the water" We even bring groups of people here when we've been on days out!!

Super quick food service, excellent quality when it arrived, only thing I didn't appreciate was the automatically putting ice in the drinks, including my wine😱Please ask if we would like ice... do not assume😤Other than that fab, lively pub🤣🤣🤣

Nice Pud... like u have different beers. And keep getting new one. Like it when u had Help for Heroes beer. U should Try and get Blue Moon or Big Wave. And are u on Twitter

I love going to the Wirral because it has a nice atmosphere, clean and staff are friendly. My son and I tried the Buttermilk chicken burger and we loved it. He tends to have curry or hotdogs and I like baked potato but we have both found a new favourite, SO PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT OFF THE MENU. ha ha ha ha Yes we were out by 9 like it says on the door. Great place.

I entered a competition to win a £25 bar tab which i ended up winning. Just been today for lunch to use the bar tab. Food was lovely and great service. Thank you very much! Not very often i win anything � x

Happened to stop off here on way home from the zoo. We spotted Sponge Bob in the corner and my granddaughter was so excited.

There was an event going on with free donkey rides, face painting, and various food wagons in the car park.

Went in for lunch. Staff are SO nice, even the landlady came over for a chat!

Kids met Sponge Bob and Peppa Pig. Food was lovely.

We bought tickets for the Paw Patrol breakfast during half term. A real gem of a pub! 🤗

Come today with my friend for the new menu! Absolutely beautiful food, very hot tasted amazing and the service was fab. Friendly welcome when we walked in down to a friendly goodbye too. All staff were happy and very talkative defo coming back soon

Amazing service tonight for my party of 30 especially on a Friday night but top marks to all the staff and chef amazing food and waiting staff definitely recommend and nothing was too much of a problem thank you again ��

Had a lovely lunch in in the wirrral yesterday chicken tikka masala lovely and the pudding was divine as was the latte..thanks Dawn we will be back as we normally go every few weeks to meet up with my friend

Enjoyed the 3 course Christmas Dinner yesterday lunchtime with 2 friends. They had even laid the table nicely for us and reserved it. Staff all friendly, service was great and the price for what we had was very reasonable. If I had any complaint it would be that there were no sprouts, no sprouts on a Christmas dinner, scandalous lol !!! Plenty of other nicely cooked veg though and the turkey was lovely. Never been here before but after reading the extensive menu and the great lunchtime offers we will be back. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Ate there yesterday with 4 friends had 3 course luncheon special £5 95 excellent value, all freshly cooked and piping hot couldn't fault it!!!!!!

Nice atmosphere, food and drink are decently priced. Only issue is that 3 of us have had to wait 1hr 45 min for two chicken salads and a jacket potato. My boyfriend met us late and he waited 35 mins for his small burger and chips, so service is not 100% but it is a really nice place to come and have a drink with friends and family

Went to the old Wirral hundred for a late lunch with my husband, was a little bit spoilt for choose on the menu. We both decided on lunch club. Starters were good. My husband had mushroom soup, that he said tasted like a home made soup. I had battered mushrooms. These were really nice.. Not sure about the dish they are served in. Main meal was very nice, good sized portion, really good value for money. We will be returning

Visiting the local area from overseas and went for dinner with my family. Menu was promising but a huge let down. Naked Roadhouse burger was so oily I couldn’t stomach it and onion rings advertised with the dish didn’t materialize. I was served a greasy burger and wilted salad. Two kids meals were completely wrong but couldn’t be bothered complaining. They just ate them because they were hungry. I worked in this pub for 5 years back in the 90s when the food was actually home cooked and not just reheated frozen crap. Shame to see it has lost its way.

Over half an hour wait for a burnt burger and a cold pulled pork sub. Won't be going back

For a English bar that plays a Welsh rugby match then refuses to play a England game is shocking and advertising the 6 nations and not putting game on is disgusting and they want to be ashamed of them selfs

Family had an idea this pub had improved so I gave it another go wish I hadn't food was vile watery chilli on jacket potatoe in a bowl on a hot plate salad placed on the hot plate warm salad not nice won't be going again �

Wirral hundreds a joke an hour between each course is not acceptable and all meals came out at different times no one in the place has the authority to do a refund

Wasn’t impressed with how rude some of the bar staff were or the fact the manager wouldn’t serve us a gin and mixer in an actually gin glass . If anyone remembers the strawberry pub it was a great place if you were 17 to 19 and that’s what the Wirral reminded me off . It’s not as classy or nice as it used to be

Visited pub on sunday 26th feb 2017 with family, staff were lovey and helpfull, service was great, only thing that has let it down is that all 3 of us have been ill today, i phsically couldnt get out of bed today and have been sick, had bad stomach cramps, other 2 family members have had it jus not as bad as me, just glad my 9year old son didnt eat his tea, i had the chicken tikka, my brother had bbq ribs an my sister inlaw had the bbq ribs, southern fried chicken strips platter,such a shame to write this as always has been ok

Terrible meal, never thought I would have to leave a 1 as we used to love this place. The meals were awful, I had a DEAD WASP in mine!!! What made it worse was when the replacement came it had a BONE in it that was not part of my meal, absolutely atrocious@ will not be going back!!. The manager didn't seem bothered at all and gave us a refund for the second meal, wonder what the brewery and environmental health would think!!

So today’s my mums birthday so I thought I’d take her out for lunch, she ordered the fish and when it came and she opened it up she said she didn’t think the colour looked right it was yellow and mushy when they was saying it was cod that should be white and flakey she then tried some and said it had no taste at all so the lady took it back and came back and said it’s definitely cod and because you’ve ate most of it you can’t have anything else all we can give you is chips and salad, ruined my mums birthday! very disappointed!

Had to give one star, my daughter treated me to a meal for my birthday and I ordered the fish and when it came it was yellow and mushy, he was insisting it’s cod which it clearly isn’t as it has a see through look to it, so it went back but they will only give me chips and a bit of salad back as its looks like I have ate most of it. Absolutely awful!

Came in tonight. Bought a drink for me and my 9year old son at 9:10 and was then kicked out at 9:20 because they don't let under 18's in after 9. May just add my son was stood next to me at the bar when I was served. Terrible pub terrible staff.
